This week will be so interesting in so many levels. Can Jones make a motivational difference? Who will be selected and where? Will the game plan change? Will Shaun Johnson put in this week? Will the playing group step up? Will the refs favour us to help the team through a rough patch?

I’ve got my interest back again!

I said a few weeks ago only a preseason or coaching change can break a team wide downwards spiral. I’m picking a very close game and maybe even a win!

But wouldn’t be surprised with a 30 point hiding

Gave me the impression it’s a popular decision with Shaun Johnson that Stacey is in charge when he’s at the part with this is as good as it gets playing behind it. Really interested to see the response.

We need more pressure put on the refs by the captain and backed up by the coach if its needed. My point wasnt about SoO, its about our team having just accepted some absurd calls this year, some that have infuenced the result.

Captain has to keep whinging at the ref politely, to keep the rub of the green from going to the other team who all do exactly this, these days. I not sure why we dont

The issue we have vs Sharks now is mental, beaten by an 11 man team. I agree on paper we have a great team. But some reason the coach could get their intensity up like the sharks are.

If Stacey can get our intensity turned up to frothing level, and our defense is non compromising, our offense will do the rest. So dpending on intensity, it is any bodies game.

I'm with you on that I watched that Annesley review after the Manly game not a thing said about any of our calls He just waffled on about obstruction calls

I like the talk of more fun in the team. Hopefully we see some more positive footy and a bit of cohesion in the team, that's clearly not been there for 12 months now.

When looking at other sides, they all have ex players around the camp. We would normally have a few as well, but being stranded in Aus has limited that involvement. I think those ex players keep the Warriors vibes and culture alive, which is important. Someone who you respect but isn't the coach, giving you honest truths etc.. Would go a long way. Good move from Stace.

I just dropped Johnson and shuffled a number of players to get Hynes in my Fantasy Footy, dropped Walsh as well. I hope I regret it in non fantasy footy haha.

Clearly the punters think the Warriors are going to get a pasting.

Warriors odds are huge, 1-12 6.00, 1-13 16.00

Not to encourage gamblin but just havning a play around Warriors $13+ with Walsh to score anytime 25.25, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak instead 20.50

NEVER gamble on the Warriors I tell myself. But clearly Brown leaving has had a big impact on some odds.

I find this Bizarre, I go for Sharks win 1.20 and Ronaldo to score any time at 7,25, but instead of increasing as a multi it takes my odds down to 6.75, is that just an algorithim or what, seems strange.....

Talakai odds not scratched yet, is he definitely ruled out? I hope so, whilst we contained him last time, it was taking 4 men at times and he would still make 8-10m, so strong.

Cheers, Bummer lol. But thats why his odds are still up. Well, 3-4 man marking. Lets just hope we dont gift them a plethora of redzone as Talakai would be hard to stop steaming onto a ball 5m out.

Interesting odds Total Match points under 45.5 is $1.85, the last 4 between them have been under that. I like these kinds of profiles Sportsbet offers, they make for nice multis. But who knows both teams could put on 30 each

Agree mate, I remember when Patten was coaching us. After a big loss one week he said they just took the tone down and had fun at training - played some soccer, American football etc the next week we came out and won. Being happy defiantly helps with winning!!
