Well the first 20 mins was good. I got so disintersested when I could see the wheels falling off so I started to clean the house.

Oh well, didnt expect much different, and now we get to play the Panthers so the losing streak will continue.

I like Berry's effort but he's scrawny and his skills on offense are well below first grade standard. Thought it was telling that they skip passed him for DWZs try after he fkd up a certain try by not passing to Dallin Watene-Zelezniak a few minutes earlier.

He was very slender couple of years ago, but looks like he's bulked up a lot this season and is quite a strapping lad now. He's 1cm taller and just a kg lighter than Jack Wighton.

Agree his offence needs a lot of work to be first grade standard and he was guilty of a jersey grab against a rampaging Talakai last night, but when his hits stick they have some force. I've heard it through the TV a couple of times.

I can’t believe Walsh has only got his first try of the season, that shows how bad we are, I get the impression Shaun Johnson doesn’t like him and doesn’t want to pass to him, maybe cant accept he is not the only rock star in the team. Mark my words, Walsh will go to another club and become a great player, I would have him at 7 and Johnson at 6, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak at fullback. Johnson isn’t a 7. Let Walsh call the plays.

Wighton is far more agile at centre though. Talakiai is a lump and Berry barely got a finger on him, Wighton probably doesn't miss that one. Berry can stick a head-on tackle alright but his lateral defense was poo's.

When watching this current team, I ask..

What is our identity!?

When looking at the current team we field every week, only Johnson, Chanel Harris-Tavita, Tevaga & Afoa have come through the Warriors pathways! to me, this really shows where the problem is! When 95% of this team have been "thrown together" over the past 4 years, there is no mana in the jersey! The team doesn't have real "Warriors" leaders! Players who have given there all for the jersey!
Let's hope it changes ges when the boys arrive home! I don't mind a loss if the boys show respect for the jersey and play decent footy but when they go out every week and produce 'sub par' performances, the organization becomes hard for us as fans to follow.

I’ve reconciled feeling upset with the team. It’s been a really heartbreaking season but I have every belief that it’s going to pick up and we are going to find our mana. This season ain’t gunna be the one but as us Warriors always say - there’s always next year and being back at home I believe this will be true! Up the Warriors! And hopefully our club finds its heartbeat again soon

Worst thing about this game was the big Stacey Jones promo they did before the match. Seems like theire was more effort put into that, than our actual game preparation.

It was all topped off by the final word going to future writer/poet/wordsmith Chanel Harris-Tavita talking about how Stacey Jones was his hero, and everything will be ok because Stacey gets the culture.

Getting the broken culture is the very reason Stacey as coach won't work.

The fact that this culture comment was coming from a bloke who is bailing on the club is more than comical.

It felt like Chanel was channeling his inner David Brent, in some kind of comical reality show.

The scary thing is that he wasn't taking the piss, he was dead serious.

The whole thing was farcical. I was just waiting for Chanel to finish with,

The whole club is built on fantasy rather than any substance.
That's why going to Stacey after he's been involved with the club in one way or another for nearly 30 years is just farcical.
Dreaming that some how the "Stacey magic" will rub off on the team is delusional, as is all the other short term fixes we have employed.

It will be the media commitments as part of the Sky sponsorship. They would have picked Chanel as the young well spoken half to fit the narrative. Seems like they are trying to copy the style of those Fox Matt Nable promos you see 30 times in a weekend. Stacey would'nt have wanted the attention.

Anyone else notice Sironen for the first maybe 15mins he was on? I thought he was awesome. And i usually think hes mud.

Thought Lui should have been on longer. He was solid when we were lacking a proper prop. It was soo obvious that you cant just throw backrowers as props. We were running a bit sideways once Ben Murdoch-Masila went off.

Afoa was solid too. One of his better games apart from the shit pass he got on his first touch from Tevaga.

The looked solid for the first couple monutes but then Pompey goes and kicks out on the full after a Try and then Sharks scored, and we couldnt get back into the game because our halves were shit.

Yeah there was a couple of minutes where Sirro played in Chanel Harris-Tavita s position where I thought wow!
We actually looked like a good team.
Yes thought Lui was fine cart it up make metres.
I ve always been a Bunty fan but he was a little off yesterday

I back him to turn this team around he just needs two more front row props and some easy decisions in the backs drop some players

Hopefully Addin Fonua-Blake is in to the squad as that bench is seriously weak
