This is how I feel watching the warriors.

All in all they kind of redeemed themselves in the second half and tbh I'm more disappointed for the bro that put $10 on the warriors when they were down and paying 60 something dollars then I am in us just losing. I can only imagine how he feels. Fk me this team is not for the faint hearted to follow....

I think Brown really needs to let go of playing Aitken in the 2nd row and sure up our edges asap. Aitken might not be a good passer but we don’t have the cattle for the quick expansive plays and it is our defensive reads out wide which are so poor and letting us down. Next I would play Walsh at number 6 as he needs his hands on the ball as much as possible and at number 1 he has a couple of limitations. For me Montoya is the player to fill in the number 1 position until metcalf comes. Montoya has a high work rate and will be more reliable defensively and just looks like our best fullback option. I think Dallin is really disappointing unless he is put in space, he can’t step off either foot so runs straight at players not unlike afoa yet he is half the size so makes little or no yardage. Pompey would be my other centre. I would also replace Johnson at number 7 with Chanel Harris-Tavita when fit. We will seriously miss Lodge next year as I think he is currently our best forward.

I'm kind of glad they didn't comeback and win. If they had I think it would've overshadowed the first half which was 1 of the worst warriors performances I've seen in a while and let them ignore it for another week.

I know it does in the last 5, but surely if the kicker is ready then time should be stopped? Fair enough if the check is done while everyone celebrates etc but that just felt wrong.
Come on guys… the refs and bunker manipulate the games to keep it even.

When we are miles behind they started disallowing south’s tries and giving us the 50/50 calls to close the result. South’s get robbed and we get a leg up but no one cares because the game is beyond doubt… When we almost come back the manipulation goes full on in reverse as it wouldn’t have been fair on South’s after handicapping them most of the game.

We’ve already sneaked one we shouldn’t have against the Raiders like this.

Don’t believe me… after several repeat sets in the first 10 minutes of us on the Bunnies line they finally got the ball. I predicted the ref would find a relieving penalty for the bunnies - bam. It happens. Theory… prediction… fact!

The problem I see is no system and any confidence in it.

There is plenty of talent there. For example Melbourne players know just what to do in any situation, and it looks like it.

That has to come back to the coaching staff.

Now if I was to assume that Brown is a coach, what are his assistants like? Both Bennett and Bellamy have top assistants
Nobody has confidence in the system?

I think it’s as much that we don’t has the same combination week to week. Our backs, second rowers and halves have been a revolving door of who’s fit and available…

And surprise, surprise they look clunky in defence and the opposition has a field day through our edges.

Pisses me off with this team that every year we have a huge injury toll of key players along with abnormally long suspensions that continually disrupt the team. We only have 8 players out of 17 still playing in the same position as round 1 this year.

How bad they must rate otukolo right now that lussick came right in. Not good signs.

I think the Lussick naming was Brown jumping on a grenade for him . Kid's confidence would have been shot to bits during the week by the news that the Roosters made us take him in exchange for Volkman coming early. Hopefully normal service resumes next week, I can see why he was struggling to make the reserve grade squad over there!

Disagree, but understand comments on Lussick... missed a one on one tackle to let Cook score.
Thrown into the deep end with a new outfit, but as the game progressed the passes become crisper as he warmed to the task with plenty of energy.

IMO Otukolo has had some time to make an impression but as yet has failed to deliver.

Man this team is breaking me down so much and the worst thing it's my own fault! Why do I love this game so much! Definitely starting to question my loyalty to coming on here most days and watching every weekend! Even my son loves them now! What have I done!!!!!😪

So what is our humiliation of choice for this week, I'm assuming scoring no points and may God have mercy on our souls.

So I got it slightly wrong in the GameDay thread, turns out our humiliation of choice was giving up in the first half and deciding to start playing again an hour into the game thus not giving ourselves enough time to run down the lead we gave up.

I wasn't even mad, I just find it funny now.

I’m trying to keep my son away from even following rugby, but it’s really hard when his peer group at school includes kids with rugby league pedigree whose parents have played for the Warriors?!!!

I almost got up and walked out at half time. I'm glad I didn't. Good fightback by the Warriors with Walsh and Johnson stepping up.

I also liked what Ben Murdoch-Masila did when he got game time. Second week in a row he had a good game. There are a lot of people on here who hate him, but he got some good go forward. He's having a better season than last year. He's stepped up.
I agree on Ben Murdoch-Masila. He needs more game time and more ball in the right position.
As it gets colder he will be a weapon.

Mate your son needs to be a future warrior we can all pile on for the reason the warriors haven't won a premiership going on what i guess will be 40 years by then 😁😁.

Jk bro.

Just to add to Lussick...

My big concern here is when a player first plays for the Warriors... is full of beans...
however, gradually, and it seems to happen time after time, the enthusiasm diminishes as if a dark specter of some Footy curse descends on the individual.

Sorry, but it seems like we are still stuck here in this ongoing tragedy once again.

I'll add to that too, when a new guy has a good first game and we all as fans lose our shit over it and want to start sacking others! We are that desperate for this team I would say it's the closest to having a crack addiction.

I agree with that and Asi is a prime example. Is that because when they’ve played their debuts, they’ve only been here such a short time they’re playing what’s in front of them and then over the following weeks they are following the system that they’re being asked to play?
