Tbf I think he earned some respect with his performance in the last rounds of last season but our expectations for him were so low that we are happy with the bare minimum from him

I genuinely have nothing against the dude, as a matter of fact I root for him because I love the story of him making it from the factory to the NRL. It's just some of the brain farts you just can't ignore.

That’s fair enough.

For me I just dislike some of the reaching that’s been thrown his way today.

I’m the same - and I’ve been critical of him in the past also. I want him to pan out because I genuinely believe he works hard and has improved his game since we first saw him hit the scene.
