From that list I'd have Wright in the centres over Henry and would find a spot for Eastwood on the bench - but I don't think we should chase them.
The rumour is Keating, which would be horrible for the Warriors. If they are targeting any of them, only reasonable one would be Wright since he would be cheap and good backup at centre.

He is an extremely effective forward reserve and would definitely make my warriors 17.
He can play front row and anywhere in the back row... I would definitely want him.

Yeah if we sign Keating, it would really be arse about face, based on what Bluey said early in the year about "Only buying in players who will add significant value", or something to that effect.

No basis, but I get the impression Leuluai seems to be coming in as cover only. It seems like he wants to come home and has taken a cheap deal to get here. He will be used as injury cover in the halves/hooker, and will play Vulcans mostly. Something similar to what Stacey was meant to do in 2009.

Yes mate, i am well aware that this rumour has been circulating for a while, but my source is credible and i do believe it will be announced in the coming months, he is off contract with the NZRU and out of favour with All Black's coaches. I think it looks likely considering the warriors have salary cap room and a need for another quality centre/wing.

Godinet specialises in half back. He can cover 1, 6, 9. I'd still rather see Friend play hooker than TL. My personal preference would be Godinet in the halves, but I suspect they are on the lookout for someone better/different. I have never considered Leuluai that exceptional.

I haven't seen much of Keating or TLL. Are they both utility 6/9 types? Can they Kick/Run/Pass? Weaknesses?

Thomas is enjoying a mini Revival because Maloney and Johnson suck on D.
The hope is Thomas will tackle and do the basics well and Johnson will do the rest. I don't like that plan if Johnson ends up carrying the team and we get amother Stacey Syndrome on attack.
If TLL comes back the Man , for mine that will be because he opens up the other half of the field on attack and his kicking game is Boss.
Tackling and being reliable should be pre requisites and i recon Johnson has to do a bit of work there next year no matter who partners him.

From my very limited experience of TLL in the halves he seems like a tidy organiser, great defender, with a strong kicking game. I don't think we need another superstar half - I'd be happy if that became a reality.

He's playing for a very good Wigan side. Yes ESL isn't as good as NRL but the best players in ESL are still very good NRL players. He has never been bad when playing for the Kiwis and I welcome him back. As someone else has said, he only needs to be a good steady player to right the ship and let Shaun Johnson do the fancy stuff.

With the salary cap people are kidding themselves if they think we're going to get a superstar to partner Johnson. Well you could, but you better be prepared to have a shit forward pack to afford them. Its a luxury teams cant afford (well the ones that play by the rules anyway) in this day and age.
