So who here believes? I personally don't. Well I wouldn't say that, I believe there is something out there but we are too small to ever know what that is. I don't believe in a central figure and I don't believe in a God. I run my values from where I am from, not a book. My opinion is more officially called 'agnostic'. Don't confuse this with 'atheist'.

I'm a christian. not the most dedicated and loyal one because haven't been to church in quite some time. but to me god is there and looks out for every man and woman. How do I know? Well I don't but I believe he is somewhere there.

I believe in God, and that's about the extent of my faith. I have been to the tops and bottoms of both worlds. Brought up in a Christian home, i joined bible college at 17, got my credentials for theology. However, being apart of the church 'heirachy' i was invited into sectors i should never of been, as a green 20 year old christian i heard and saw some things at the top of the church heirachy that made me despise church and the people running it. I think that christianity is a relationship between yourself and God, when there starts to be lines drawn and different denomonations saying they have the one and only way to heaven, that's when it stops being christianity. and frankly, i think anyone that gets caught up in the whole 'church' scene are there for the wrong reasons.

That is the way I feel about and thats why I have aligned myself with personal values that I will always abide by. It is those values that guide me. I guess you could kind of say that I believe God lives in everyone and directs them that way.

As you believe in God, I believe in 'something'. I don't know what and I believe we will never know. But I believe there is a higher power of some sort, I just don't know why I should only abide by the Christian way of thinking. All the religions can't all be right so it must be up to me and what I choose and thats why I have dismissed religion in that way.

God is an Alien , spaceman or the like. Came here many many years ago and performed wonders. His kind will return and unite the earth. Or destroy us.

This thinking is gaining ground as science delves deeper into the topic. Eother that or it is the biggest con ever run.

Each to his,her own beliefs. I like to think that "someone" is watching over us.

Or is it like a huge TV program and we are the cast ?

Or was this world created for the Rats as a way of gaining the meaning of life? And of course the answer is 42 !

It doesn't really matter as long as you believe in something that has values and presents you with quality of life.

I'm a practising Christian, (as in, I have an ongoing relationship with God, pray, fellowship, read the Bible, etc), and have been for the last seven years. I attend church occasionally, but I refuse to go if I feel obligated to, because then I'd be there for the wrong reasons, which could turn into what I consider religion, (as opposed to relationship).

I am a born and raised catholic, but doesn't mean I follow the church, I have my life, I followed my own path, one of which the church would not have been happy with, but was my choice, I believe in a higher being somewhere, which will show when we eventually pass over, I believe in guardian angels, and I believe a person has the right to believe in what ever they want to as long as they don't push their beliefs onto me, and yes Jonb I do go to church every now and again for that exact same reason, to remember that i am a sinner. and nobody is perfect.

I don't like the ones that take it overboard. The ones that make it their life and try to convince every person they meet how god has changed them and how it will make ME a better person.

Another thing I have found is that the bible is really only a motivator.

You hear of all these people who found the bible and it transformed them. I think these are the people who were in need of a motivator. And the bible provided that - it provided a good motivator indeed.

But give those people Tony Robbins and I believe the outcome would have been the same.

The bible does transform people but I believe it is just a motivator and people seem to turn to it first because of its profile.

Tony Robbins gets there second .
