I have gone back and forth on if I should say this or not (as I am not having a go just a piece of advice). When you are asking questions it often sounds like you are laughing near the end of it. Might be nerves or just your manner, maybe it doesn't bother anyone else?

I believe Searley tries to hold a more conversational space (in my opinion) rather than a conventional interview - which is why I personally enjoy this podcast.

The Josh Curran and Shaun Johnson eps are good examples as it’s sounds more like a yarn - which separates this series to anything else we get from the club with the players IMO.

Walshy answered his questions more professionally I thought (as in he didn’t really loosen up, as if he was being interviewed post Match or he was on NRL 360).

Regardless - appreciate the Mahi as always searleytalkssport 🔥

Just in response to your question about it bothering anyone else, I really like the naturally conversational kiwi vibe to the interviews. That's what makes these podcasts so great.

Gotta love this kid and his enthusiasm, he sounds well grounded after a pretty tough upbringing too. That beautiful bond with his daughter is the best thing in his life and he knows it already, pretty astute for a 19 year old.

I think his style is fine bro, let's the player relax and open up versus where it sounds like a real interview and the player shuts down...

back when he had that add goin on tv- "i dont care where as long as im mayor" he came down to our clubrooms for some reason.
anyway they got him up for a bit of a speech and it was all pretty standard till he got to the end then goes "i dont care where as long as theres beer, as long as theres beer i dont care where" and skulled a jug- it was awesome.
