Don't see what else ME could have done. Reading through the posts this week, the general consensus seems to be the problem was largely with the forwards lack of mongrel/go foward and wasn't helped with the lack of quality tactical kicking (although the latter could have been in part because of the former).
Who've the Vulcans got this weekend? I wonder if ME's thinking that the Vulcan's opposition will have enough NRL experience so that Laumape is forced to learn whatever lessons are needed so he doesn't need to learn in the NRL (predicated on every NSW Cup team's ideas, philosphies, the power relationships with their respective NRL club if they have one - how much say the NRL club has in the NSW Cup team's makeup, tactics etc - and of course injuries and form)?

Dissapointed with our coaches mishandling of Hurrell, for me Hurrell would be an instant starter every week regardless of his current situation, our coaches are contributing to Hurrell's second year syndrome by showing no trust or faith in him, yes he has handling and positioning issues but he's a far better player then that, the mark of a good coach would be to try iron out those issues not hide it away in reserve grade.
Quite. All this stuff about not bringing Laumape in as a regular to the side coz he's too young and unready, but then we have Carlos, who is young and unready.
About three weeks ago ME was playing Konrad coz he said he needed more First Grade experience to come right. And now he's been left out of the First Grade to get more Vulcans experience. Except that last week he didn't even get that.

I agree, Docker is an impressive player, first time I'd seen him play against the Storm, brutal defender, hammered Mahe Fonua which you don't often see

Seriously... I have seen this so often from Taylor - I can actually remember times this season when it's lead directly to tries against us. I don't think I've ever seen him get his target with that play.

As soon as taylor moved I was screaming 'nooooooooooooooooooooooo' then she saw what happened. it was like that guy on Austin Powers being run over by the heavy roller. M.E. must smash some shit up when he is alone. How would you cope drilling everyone with your game plan and defensive structure then our marquee player rushes out of the line.

Its always struck me as hilarious. I have not been able to hold back the laughter. You see a blur shoot across the screen, past the attack and then come jogging sheepishly back on side after picking himself up. I know it has caused us some problems, but it is still fucken funny to watch.

Don't know what I was expecting but I'm underwhelmed by this team. I was hoping we would see Hurrell back over Carlos. It was actually the trial against the Panthers that I saw Carlos get bumped time after time. Really hope Elliott knows what he's doing...

When Dale N returns who does ME remove, CT or BH ? After saying that CT will spend a good length of time in centres, where then does this leave Konnie ( i might not have great hands BUT can run through a brickshit house to score a try !!!) OR the new kid on the block Laumape who has never let himself or the team down ? So this must mean that Carlos stays and Benray goes to his position that ME has said he will play in ..2nd row, Will Mateo then move to the Vulcans and show them how to throw shit passes that loses matches with only minutes to go ? Of course the only other option is to send Capt Mannering to the lower grade.... Now if Jro returns because as stated he offers a lot to the team, does Carlos become 18th man to then disappear in to the Vulcans. I'm really afraid that ME is going down the Bluey path and doesn't have the balls to drop the SO CALLED STARS that really should not be in top grade.
