There is a rumour doing the rounds that suggests a very high profile rugby league player has been involved in shenanigans with a team mates wife.

I cannot confirm but this allegedly was the source of an altercation between this high profile footballer and another team mate at training recently.

The info I am getting is that if the rumour is confirmed true this high profile player will more than likely be released.

Now what I can say is that whilst the content of the rumour was not discussed, it was most certainly vehemently denied by Robbie Farrar on twitter including the hashtag #brothers.

I want to stress that the info I have been told is that Farrar is not the subject of the rumour, but he has commented on the rumour in the public domain.

If the rumour is true, and more importantly if the rumour that the player will be released is true, then we will certainly want to dust off the gym equipment. Because we would want him. Every club will.
