I hope HD sees this, might solve his problem he has had with the NRL regarding his sports videos.
I would have thought a clever guy like HD would have discovered this already, but, in any case, I hope it helps him.

The problem isn't Youtube, but the copywrite owners, and by doing as the instructions direct, you exonerate Youtube from any responsibilities for hosting the material. I found it kind of funny that Youtube are hosting instructions on how to do this.

Would there be any legal grounds to remove them though? It's only informing people of their rights.

While I'm not an expert, I'd say that because of the very existence of the instructional video and our ability to view it, the answer would be no. Heck, Youtube probably did it themselves (I'm not being serious about this last bit).

On another note, copyright laws (I was writing it as copywrite before, what a brain fart) are balls. I support the endeavour to reward creative effort and protect the ownership against unfair use, but the current system is completely fcuked. Copyleft would be a good start (while it's already in use, I mean more widespread use).

Rumour from VOT: Mark O'Meley in negotiations with the Warriors.

Thoughts anyone?

Also Shane Tronc.

Before we signed either of them I would want us to try out Gavet and Poching in first grade.

Is Tronc playing for the Broncos?

I'm all for giving the young blokes a blast, but I still think we need something tried and tested to lead the pack. 8 weeks ago, I would have thought Sammy would be doing this, consistently, by now. Perhaps that thumb injury really stymied the beginning of his season and he'll soon be back to top form (as, in my opinion, he's been getting better every round, so far). If Lillyman goes good tomorrow, then I'll be convinced he's someone we need to keep too.

Yeah, that's true. Props do tend to get better (well more consistent) with age. Rapira, Packer, Matulino are all youngins. Lillyman is doing a fairly good job, but I agree we do need an old head to lead our pack.

On a side note, I'm disappointed Rapira hasn't taken this opportunity to lead the pack with both hands.

Its a disgrace we need to be looking elsewhere for an established prop as we had so many potiental young guns ready to step up, who have actually gone backwards this year. Maybe, someone like Mark or Shane wouldn't be a bad thing, a hard old head would be much appreciated, actually. I hope Lillyman is retained due to his good form, i really do hope he keeps it up. Been one of our best, no doubt.

Attention grabbing stuff, I realise as much, but did I ever tell anyone the story about the time I dressed up in a giant penis suit and went clubbing in Brisbane's Caxton Street precinct?

This pic isn't from that night, but it's the closest one I have. Bear in mind that I do not own that thing, would the real penis man please stand up? Nah. Jokes. The real owner has a giant sperm costume too. Good times, good times...

Regarding last nights game between the Raiders and Dogs (Raiders and Dogs?! Say what?!), Shaun Fensom 75 tackles in 80 minutes!!! I'm fairly sure Luck held the record for tackles made in a single match (that went into overtime), and this has to be a new record (for all those tackle heads out there like me).

On another note from the same game, Jamal Idris... After watching the game, it's so obvious why he didn't get chosen for Oirgin. I mean, centre is such a key position and basically, last night, Idris, during the early stages of the match, smashed a few smaller blokes in really rough tackles, then went awol for the next 60 minutes. This could have been thanks to poor service from the play-organisers, but, in my opinion, Idris could have stuck his nose in a whole lot more. All that said, I think Australia did the right thing by selecting him as a bench impact player, because that is, essentially, all he is. And granted, he played centre in the test for a good 60 minutes without being shown up (thanks to a timely injury to that fat basted Inglis), but I totally agree with his non-selection at Origin level*.

*Not that I could even give a slightest flying f..k about Origin. They should rename it to The Great Eastern Australian Collective Wank-off Series.

I reckon Fensom should get a double DF in NNRL. Lucky bastard, whoever has him.

Great post. I though Idris was in for a big one, then he just did nothing.

Fcuk Origin too.

Following on from this...

Extract:
ONLY a technicality has stopped Raiders tackling dynamo Shaun Fensom from making his mark on the NRL record books. The lock walked off Canberra Stadium on Friday night having made 75 tackles in the side's 20-12 victory against Canterbury.

It is the highest number of tackles by a Raider since they began to be recorded in 1998. Overall, it's the highest number of tackles in an 80-minute game, but three short of the mark set by New Zealand Warriors forward Micheal Luck in 2009.

Luck completed 78 tackles during the drawn match with the Melbourne Storm, which included 10 minutes of extra time. Fensom's previous high was 55 set in the round-two loss to Brisbane.

Haha classic stuff here from Fittler:

BIRDS AND BOOZE
It is well documented that drinking is to blame for most of the trouble young footballers find themselves in, but why do they feel the need to get on the booze in the first place? Brad Fittler raised an interesting theory in the latest issue of The Beast, a free magazine delivered to homes in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

''Fair dinkum, and you can write this, they're chasing chicks,'' Fittler says.

''Mate, they're 23, they're training, they're fit and they live in the eastern suburbs. They want chicks and they're here, there are heaps of them. A lot of the boys are pretty shy. They come to Sydney and they've got their little insecurities and a lot of them can't just walk up to a good-looking bird unless they've got 10 beers under their belt. I was like that. They want chicks - that's the answer, chicks.''

^He's right though. I need 10 beers to approach a girl, and even then they have to be mediocre at best so that i have a guaranteed success probability.
