Here's some of things I've been thinking about this morning...
Disclaimer: what follows are opinions, though I may choose to present it as if it is fact, simply to aid the flow of conversation.
Lote Tuqiri is way overrated. Inept defence (including our own) made him look so much better than he is. When he comes against a good teams, he looks like a hack...
Are the Morons overrated? I don't care much for Origin, but could it be that the Morons keep winning simply because NSW suck real bad? I mean, they have the talent, but it's not incredible. Lockyer is long past his best. Thurston too. Great forwards, but nothing write home about in regards to the backline. Now, my bigger question is, who'd you think would win between Qld and the Kiwis? Now that would a fcuking excellent match-up!
Isn't it strange the Kiwi's lost their first match against the Kangaroos in the 4N, who were fielding their B-team, and were playing away, only to go on and twist that right around the following weekend? I'm starting to get the feeling that Australia, with years of dominance across the sporting spectrum, have forgotten how to clean out the dead wood.
