Won’t be taking Canberra lightly they’re desperate and at home where our record isn’t flash- their crowd can be vocal and feral so can’t let them get a roll on with repeat sets.

Not confident enough to predict a win, but I'm very curious as to how we perform. It will show whether we were flat from the Perth trip last week, or Souths are puss and we're still trying to find our groove.
I'll be relatively happy win or lose if we can contain them to less than 16 (our average points conceded) because it will show clear progress in our defence. Obviously hoping and expecting a win though.

Have to hope it won't turn into a penalty fest because I don't think the rub will go with us if it does.
Also our first two games have included some calls that favoured us [fwd pass, obstruction call 1st game, 2 obstruction calls 2nd game] and I can't see that trend continuing

We have a win in us but it can't be assumed it mut be earned. They have just as much opportunity as we do.

Our job is to get square at marker.
Get back the 10.
Peel away from tackles at the refs call.
Refs have set their standard and we will succeed by playing to them. Let's not get into a position where a call against us can derail us.

Agreed. Always a tough challenge this one. Perth and Townsville are among our toughest trips. But even a shit Canberra can ride the homecrowd like no other team can. If we win this one we tick off another stage in our maturity. Boyd had the best game I've seen from him in years last week, His form and Croker's luck v us.

1) Papali'i and Boyd have a wow of a game and inspire the forwards
2) Leilua has a wow- on his day he slaughters Kata.
3) Croker usually scores a brace or more against us
4) Refs penalize us all game.
IMO 1) is the crucial point. If that doesn't happen we win. If 1 and 2 don't happen we win 20+. If 1,3 and 4 happen it's 50/50. If all 4 happen we're fucked.

The Rabbits had a good go at it:
Scored one through Kata charging out of the Line
Had one stopped but it took a miracle tackle from Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
Had one disallowed with a poor call by the Match Officials deeming a legit pass to be forward.
Got Ken to drop one of their kicks to him....and other bits....as many others have said if we play like that game I recon the Raiders are stuffed.
Play the ball with ur foot....the ten meters....slowing the ruck down.

We seem to have the PTB with your foot in our heads.
We are playing the fk u with the ruck.
But the ten meter rule is where we could really profit since we get the raw end if the deal anyway....any chance of the opposition being more closely monitored Is Welcome.

And add a Corvo. And I think we can run Boyd and Papalii ragged.
And score on Croker three times.
And play to the refs well enough coz coach Kearney said "roll your foot over the ball again and I'll kick you up the fucken arse."
