Can someone genuinely let me know why players insist on knocking the ball dead in goal when it is close to the ground (mid-low percentage play IMO) rather than simply forcing it (i.e., the action required to get maximum points at the other end of the field)...

I happened to be at Auckland airport picking up the missus when the boys came back from aussie..I watched all of them come out through customs. We are to small..
