I feel better seeing stuff like this than hearing about the team going to Rainbows End. I'm not expecting miracles, but I feel like we're at least moving away from wooden spoon territory.

And if there's one person that needs a boost, it's you Fazz. Still got that lolzy avatar pic I see.

That article, more than anything else we've heard or been told recently, has injected me with hope, excitement, anxiety, and pride!

Besides a superstar signing or two, I believe this is precisely what we have asked for from OUR club.

This year may well go down in Warriors history as a great year! For without it, we may never have ended up with what we are all about to witness.

This is your moment Mathew Elliott......and you may never get another one!

Make it loud.....and make us proud!

GO YOU FARKIN AWESOME WARRIORS!!!!!!

Haha that was refreshing, been a lot of doom and gloom recently. I'm backing the club one hundred percent, seems like ever since Bluey left we've been moving in all the right directions, and I know it's dangerous but I'm feeling really optimistic about next year. The disappointment from last year is still a bit fresh though lol

The putrid taste of this year is still fresh in my mouth Kendrick, but the signs so far are pointing to a much more pleasant taste next year.

I'm not foolhardy enough to be thinking premiership, but I do believe I will be able to wear my Warriors jerseys with alot more pride!

The message appears to be " Go hard....or go home!"

I guess we should call him Ben "No days off" Matulino..
The reason Ben came back early is his GF is due to give birth to their first child. I would say he will then take his 2 weeks off.

I've heared Gordon titjens traing sessions go around rugby circles in hushed tones that he will bring even the fittest player to his knees, little bit of his sevens input would help the boys speed around the park.shame the rugby union wouldn't want him traing the enemy

Yip, it's okay to have League 'give them' the use of their park in Christchurch and then restrict the number of club games played there or want them to move to their white elephant of an Eden Park to help it pay of debts incurred from their World Cup but they certainly couldn't share their expertise by letting one of their coaches help with the fitness levels of one of the "enemy's" teams.

Except for that sharp dip when Elliot was announced instead of bellamy, yeah, its been all up from there...

Full of hope for next year. Too much negativity on this forum sometimes. We have a better than solid squad and with the fitness levels being at a much higher level I am very happy. Still laughing at people getting their knickers in a twist over average aussie players not wanting to come over, get over it and back the local boys.

Look no further than the 'mud' thread. They havent even kicked off a ball and already the half empty, pessimistic, negative vultures are sharpening their knives. Nothing like kicking a man when he's down. Sad really, in a pathetic sort of way...

Fark that is top forumming by them, hadn't seen that. I have to be honest and say that I am fanatical about two other sports teams and that level of negativity is farking special. One of my teams hasn't won anything in 58 years but the supporters don't behave like that. Each to their own but starting a thread slagging off your players the week pre season starts takes the cake.

Just so you guys know, no one in that thread is actually being serious - it's a long standing joke, putting mud into peoples names in inventive way. Magic Stick coined the phrase regarding Heremaia a few seasons ago and it caught on. It's not obvious when you're new to the forum but we have our own style of sadistic humour. Everyone on here is a Warriors tragic - why else would we spend so much time on sites such as these? I don't think anyone is in the position to question how much of a fan someone else is - we all have our own ways of dealing with the ups and downs that comes with being a Warriors fan.

Seconded. It's a very long-standing 'in joke' from forums of yesteryear. Nobody is rubbishing those players or the team, especially guys like Nielsen, Lowrie etc that have yet to play a game for us.
