Pretty much with all of you guys... Just not sure what the point is anymore. We've successfully avoided the spoon - most likely, which seems to be he only goal this team actually works towards.

I guess, it all depends on if Ryan, and (to a slightly lesser extent) Bodene are back... If not, we're probably completely fucked. Taking Simon away from the middle has once again exposed what a weak defender Friend is, so we're getting destroyed through the guts... If we could go back to a pack of;

8. Lillyman
9. Friend
10. Matulino
11. Thompson
12. Hoffman
13. Mannering

Then... We'd still lose because we have one of the worst halves currently going around - one who is utterly incapable of putting on any points - but at least we'd probably lose by less.

Back line? No idea.

Who cares, I new the season was over after the Roosters performance. It's not the losing, it's the lack of hardness & intensity at this time off the year. No Heart!!!

Fisiiahi
Maumalo
Lolohea
Kata
Fusitu'a (Allwood)
Tomkins
Lino (One way to find out and I like how he plays in the lower grades. After this game, we will have proof whether he could fill in at this level).
Lillyman
Havili
Vete
Gubb
Hoffman
Mannering (c)

Roach
Lisone (but needs to improve. Fallen off since his spell in reserves)
Rapira
Hurrell

Season is gone so we may as well find some of the boys out. Gubb deserves a starting role especially in this circumstance. Roach deserves one shot to see what he can do for us next year and Rapira while lacking the physical power he once had, wouldn't give up points in the middle of the park. Hurrell, because of that Cowboys game last year, I have always favoured him as a bench player until his mojo picks up. His best runs are when he runs through the middle anyway.

Gubb is overrated We don't need more inexperienced players in the side like lino, havili thats whats killing us. they need to find more experienced players for next year & stop playing last years under 20s sides & wonder why they play that type of football.

2. Lolohea...best defensive and most creative and skillful winger at the club.
3. Hurrell...needs a good defensive winger outside him and Lolohea fits that mold, and what an incredible and varied attacking combo they would make.
4. Kata.......is struggling on defense which isn't a surprise being that he's a rookie playing in one of the most difficult defensive positions on the park.
5. Wright....is defensively sound and has more to his game than he's given credit for.
6. Tomkins...we need a steady calm presence in the halves and as fun as it is to watch Lolohea skip around in the halves, i would rather the basics were done well.
7. Townsyndrome...Probably thinks he has to be Shaun Johnson when he isn't...and probably hasn't been told not to try by McCrockpot.
8. Mutulino...probably suspended.

Can we put back eligible players into the 20s and NSW cup sides to make sure we win both of those comps? I don't like the idea of not fielding our best sides in the comps we have a realistic chance of winning this year when the NRL side is done already. Fill the FG side with the Rapiras and Lousis etc and stack the NSW cup side with Vete, Lisone and RFM, Maumalo and even Lolohea if they're allowed to give them back a taste of the feeling of winning. 4 more losses will be a confidence killer.

Couldn't agree more Viking. The weight of expectation, and now disappointment, is too heavy a load for these young fullas to carry! It will be detrimental to their growth. I understand that due to injuries etc they have been dropped in the deep end, but at this point of another plummeting season, forcing them to go down with the ship is both humiliating and unfair. Put them back into the lower grades and let them feel the euphoria of success again! We tend to expect too much from these guys and we only have ourselves to blame when they come up short. Yes, they all have massive potential but if it's not given the proper time to develop we will continue to crucify them every other week! The change in body language from Lisone & Vete this week pretty much spelt it out for me.....get them out of there...for their own sakes.

I would say all those guys except Maumalo have played too many first grade games. If Lisone plays the last few rounds he might just scrape in.

I agree with what you're saying, but if rumours are true we have no money spare for experienced first graders and could even lose1-2 of the more experienced ones we still have. That's the Warriors.

I'd love to see Lolohea and Hurrell paired together on that right edge... Hurrell on the wing... They'd carve up or at least draw defenders away from the middle...

Fish to fullback...

Tomkins to 7, Townsend to play second fiddle once again.

Forwards, just whatever we've got still standing really... Mutts probably gone on suspension..

Fuck it, just guts it out for 80 mins and give us some credibility at least...

It's not the losing that hurts we've had 20 years of it so you get use to it..

The lack of hardness, intensity and effort is what hurts the most.. I can support a team that gives it their all but you can see a clear lack of pride in the jersey. That farking hurts more then anything.

Of all the positions I've seen Tui play I think he's best suited to wing by a long shot.. just not as much pressure on him as there is in other positions and he's excelled there.
