Anyone who believes we can win gets a spot... So we might struggle to field a full team...

I hope win or lose the boys turn up and play their
game plan , I won't be unhappy if i see structure, But
what a year it's been so far , Cappy must be wandering
who's next to get injured, Definitely one of the worst years
for injuries iv seen , for a while ,

I think there will be less disruption to our squad if Tomkins goes to 6, pushing Townsend to 7 and Fish to 1.

Reality is, everyone judging Fish's performance but he's a fullback, not a winger, and he's been most impressive when playing fullback. Move Tedesco to the wing and see if he is still as impressive. *shrug*

Bench needs to be revamped.

Lisone, Vete and Maumalo should all beon there. Maumalo can play 2RF. Havili can still prove himself. Once again, always judged but he either comes on when we're getting belted, or he plays 15 minutes.

Sione Lousi is dead weight at best. We'd be better off playing with 16 because there's less room for error.

Our prop depth isn't great. Our best forwards are Matulino, Lillyman and Vete. Lisone is good at running the ball and questionable defense. Gubb excellent defense but gets dominated running the ball.

I've been a long time lurker, and this is my first post which only came out of frustration of being a warriors supporter. Guess this is all irrelevant as Johnson is out for 2015 and as much as us loyal fans want to believe there is hope of adapting without him, a realist would know there's no chance. He's to us, what Thurston is to the cowboys. Yes you will win a game or two without them, but the games that matter we'll get washed.

I need to stop caring so much when Warriors lose. It ruins 50% of my weekends lol.

I'm definitely leaning towards the 'let's look to next year' type outlook.

Tui simply has to go to the halves. Yes Tomkins may do a better job but to what end? So we maybe win 1 more game than we might have? 2016 will not be a successful year if TL is our first choice 6. Tui needs some time to understand what's required in that position at this level if he's ever even going to be considered as an option there.

Continuing with that theme, there can be no Lousi, Havili or Rapira on the bench. Unfortunately for Sam, whilst he tries hard, he just isn't up to it physically and he is leaving. I don't care how Lisone has been traveling in reserve grade, he needs to come back onto the bench, and he can come on in the front row or even a spell in the backrow if that suits. Start prepping these fucken players for next year and do away with the dross.

Our season is over. But we're lucky because we know it this early, we can start trialing changes and "Blooding" some younger talent in the NRL. Lolo needs to be number 6 for the remainder of the year, regardless of form. It'll do wonders for him IMO and we could be even better off next year for it.

Also Mannering as Captian, IMO, is one of the many reasons for our lack of success. There are certain times where the Captain needs to LAY into the team, needs to put the fear of god into them. I have not seen that once from Mannering. I still love the bloke though.

/Trying to force myself to believe this so I don't have another warriors related emotional breakdown.

I think I'd prefer TL as first choice 6 next year. He's tough, one of our best hitters defensively, and can ball play. With the Likes of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Luke in the line-up, I'd opt for a more defensive half in TL. Tui is nowhere near as solid as TL in defense and you can see from Chad this season, how much a poor defensive half opens us up.

I've just seen enough of TL to know it will completely kill one side of the field. The number of times he'd receive the ball on the run, shoulders and hands going everywhere looking like something is about to happen, only to lay off a shit pass, a nothing kick, or get caught with the ball in hand. Similar to Chad, he lacks too much on attack to be able to hide in the lineup. Put simply, he's not good enough. Tui may not be good enough either, but I sure as hell want to give him the opportunity.

Yeah fair enough. Hey, I'm all for the best player for that position. I still wanna think there's a hope for 2015. Yes, winning a GF this year is close to no chance, but if we can play any finals footy it'd be huge for us in terms of having players like Kata, Tui, Fusitua, Vete, etc have some finals experience.

At the end of this round, we should still be in the 8 which is cool. I wouldn't be surprised if we do make Finals Footy, if Johnson coming back is a chance. Remember when Roosters sent Ferguson to the USA to do some state of the art Ankle Rehab?

Any real sniff of finals footy, and it's on the cards.

5. Ken Maumalo
6. Sam Tomkins

I wanna give the likes of RFM, Fish, Maumalo the chance to earn a contract for next year also would rather Tui at the back with more space as Tomkins isn't an evasive fullback

Don't care for a team list. Chuck whoever is fit out there. Its not like the depth is standing out to replace the 1st choice players. All players are pretty much the same quality,

Replace class with class and at the end of the day we now have nothing to lose. We select players to win whatever games we can. We're in trouble though with the amount of injuries coming out of the last three weeks.

Fisiiahi or Fusitu'a or Kaveinga or a suitable person that can catch and snoop offload ball in the middle of the park.
Lolohea
Hurrell

Vatuvei or Maumalo

Thats all i got - maybe bring another player up from NSW, don't know too much about them so can't make a call there. I do know i don't want to see Lousy, Havilli or Rapira anywhere near this team but then juding on Crappys recent selections i don't hold out too much hope. I know it won't happen but whatever pair is in the halves is gonna be new so would like to tomkins for his organisation and Tui to see how he would go. With that, i'm out...................
