Surprised so many are leaving seb out- he was one of our best last night.

How long do we keep developing chad for another clubs benefit?
I would be tempted to use him as a utility.
If the clubs sees Tui playing 6 in the future it may be time to slip him into the hot seat.
another couple of games I think minimum. Season isn't over......yet. Another couple of losses and we may as well push him to the bench or NSW cup and get Tui game time at 6 for next season.

I really think that Bhana could/should be our version of Ryan Hinchcliff.
i dont want to be debuting more rookies as im a big believer that we are lacking experience big time but i think Bhana is what we need. Ive watched alot of NSW cup and there is alot to like about his game. as others have mentioned he has big motor and is alot more versatile than Havilli or even playing a back on the bench. He can play dummy half or in the back row. I like thompson but agree with most here he gets gassed. you got replace with him Bhana for a good 10 to 15 mins and i dont think he will let you down. he can also come on for friend to give him a spell or if he gets injured again

Assuming Softkins is fit and his moth/butterfly i mean knee isn't sore and Lillyman n Hoffman come through SOO ok.

1. Mothman/Butterfly man
2. Vatuvei - please get that glue for your hands
3. Hurrell
4. Kata
5. Maulalo
6. Tui - just to see how he would go there
7. Princess
8. Lillyman
9. Friend
10. Matulino
11 Hoffman
12. Manners
13. Seb - he played well enough to get this start

Bench: Vete,Rapira,Thompson, 1 more to cover backs/hooker but not sure who although Ruben Wiki is looking pretty fit ..................(giving lisone a break, think he went off injured last nite) :poto:

Titans looking good against the Dogs. So fast, they might tear our outside backs apart

Their backs look lethal in broken play, but their forwards look ordinary in general play. This one depends on how much opportunity we hand over to them. Give them lots of chances and we're screwed.

yeah, mead, gordon and roberts are lightning bolts

How does Wright always seem to get near a 100 metres running. Is he sneaky crawling forward in the tackle or getting up with a step. Maybe his height allows him to snatch a metre when he falls. Maybe he does everything when I go to the fridge for a beer. Mystery man for when I watch he does nothing. Nothing though can be an improvement on what some of the others do at times. Im for picking youth a bit so time for his shouldertap to say enoughs enough or let him play in the forwards if he can tackle.

Wright is surprisingly elusive, he generally finds a way to squeeze his rangy frame through defenders rather than get hit head on. Just doesn't have the size or speed to do anything with that elusiveness, not too unlike Joel Moon (who wasn't really rangy, but was elusive and lacked speed.).

If we look at last week's team naming, before the Tomkins injury, and also how Cappy reshuffled during the game with Friend injured; it looks like the original plan was for Lolohea to spell Friend, but to play 6 while Townsend went to hooker. I have a feeling he might go back to that again this week if Tomkins is fit, but I can't say I'm a fan. Townsend looked a passenger defending in the middle against the big men, even more so than Friend.

I agree with people that say Bhana might be the answer. I also thought Havili didn't do too badly in the NSW cup game, seemed to play decent minutes so wouldn't be too upset to see him named. Wright hasn't done enough right to see him recalled. I'd love for Cappy to use one of the bench spots to spell Thompson instead of carrying 3 props and rotating them so much that they barely get any time out there. Playing both back-rowers for 80 minutes seems to me to limit the ability of a big man on the bench to have some impact out wide.

Though part of me wonders if Cappy's strange bench rotation this year is part of a strategy anticipating the 2016 rule changes? Is he conditioning the team to get used to a 3 man / 6 interchange bench?

Maybe like my old coach you guys aren't playing hard enough to have a rest on the bench

Can start making a few changes, Tomkins, Lillyman, Hoffman, Fusitua in,
Wright, Lisone (assume injured) Gubb, Maumalo out.
Bring Lillyman off the bench, Vete did well starting.
Keep RFM on the bench, specialist back rower needed to cover Head Knock Hoffman. Unless Rapira is somehow available.

Lolohea to the bench, or if Tomkins injured, Havili on the bench.

Fusitua should be further ahead in the pecking order than Big Ken, who played decently, but due to the pacey outside backs of the Titans, want a specialist winger than someone converted into the role for his kick returns. Or play Lolohea on the wing.

Fusitua had had 2 games back in NSW cup now, and I think you get more attack out of him, 3 games and Ken hasn’t really looked like scoring a try.
