Keen for team naming Tuesday today.

3 injuries in the game so pretty key to see who pulls up well.

Jazz will fit in somewhere, but it can't be for Ale imo, just starting to get that 20 min 4th prop role sorted, I don't think we try and change that at the moment.

With Jazz back and potentially at least one injury in the forwards I'd be keen to try and mix things up a little, maybe start Bunty and have Barnett come off the bench? Would love to see both Barnett and Walker come on after 20/25 min with a tiring forward pack.

If Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is injured, I think id rather see Te Maire Martin at fb and Volk as a half, gives us another kicking option and Te Maire Martin the chance to chime in from the back - it worked well last year with Broncs. It seems like he's trying to do that from half, but it feels like he's too quiet there for large chunks of the game.

Also happy to see Tuapiki given a shot, so not too bothered. If we have injuries up against a strong team at home, I think giving a few young guys a game would be a good move

I think we can afford to have 1 defensive centre (Williame over Pompey) and 1 rookie (no preference yet). Please no Siro!

Volkman is killing it FWIW in reggies too from the first couple of games, top pointscorer, try assists and linebreak assists.

What time they baking the team?

I would put money on all three of those players flopping in rugby league! PEROFETA!!! KMON!!!!

And this is the risk with union - While I think it makes sense to look at jnr players coming through the ranks and see if they can make the cut, generally speaking, anyone over the age of 22/23 in union means that a club is taking a MASSIVE risk

These players aren't going to come to the Warriors for peanuts, and it's going to take them a year or two (or more) to get up to speed and even then, only some will make it.

Seems a long, risky process for a small chance of success, when you look at the all the talented outside backs that have come through the NRL in the last 2 or 3 years, you have to ask if that gamble is worth it when there is enough exciting and awesome talent coming through.

I think the biggest question is how to we get a bigger slice of what is coming through right now...and I think the only real answer is to start winning, so people want to play for our team

Maybe but he’s had a strong start to the season. Sits third on nrl’s overall kick metres behind Moses and Reynolds and ahead of Cleary for the same amount of kicks. Sits fourth in attacking kicks and leads the line break involvement table on 3. Hope he can keep it up.
Why have we lost the kicking metres in our two game so far...by a significant margin?
