Harris to prop for me, Jazz has enough ball playing ability to play lock and our forwards are our asset at the moment and think Jazz will only add to that. Would like to see Harris playing short with the other forwards. Perhaps Jazz small prop and Harris stays lock. Probably more depends who’s available but Jazz definitely comes in I reckon. If Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad isn’t available do we debut Tuaupiki or Te Maire Martin at the back and Volkman or Walker into the halves?

For me - they are a new team - we don't have much depth and we need to build combinations for our attack to click - therefore minimal changes.
Our young centre in the NSW Cup attacked well but didn't always defend well - so I would keep them there developing.

11. Curran if fit and if Ford out. Ford stays if passes HIA.
If both are out - Staying with experience and Sironen comes in.

I really don’t like Sironen. Would rather blood a young guy. I get that it’s not the safest but who’s our best young second rower? Sifakula? Sironen is just too slow for mine.

Not like the draw was just put out last week, was just making a point that we went to lengths to address our poor Perth record by going early a few years ago. With Townsville also largely an unhappy hunting ground for us I think there was a good opportunity to do the same.

what I really like about the season so far is the methodical application of the plan - and the players are really buying into it - webster was explicit about this: get the defence and resilience right first and you'll be in 90% of games - from there even if you're loosing you're not going to be more than one score from jagging a win - this week i'd like to see a little more expansiveness though so that would mean some changes - it's not too much of a difference to have vailea come in for one of the centres, my preference would be for williame, but either really ... lessgo
