Shame about Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, but that gives Ed anther chance. He is big, strong and fast, not a bad start point., He has made mistakes in the past that he has seemed to learn from, He should have got confidence from last week. He and Pompey seem to have developed a good combination.

Seemed like Pompey saw his first priority as defence, and concentrated on that part of his game. Long May it last. He looked good.

To be fair, up until this point in his 1st grade career I don't recall him being put into open space to show what he's got. As we know, the Warriors have been hopeless at being able to create space for their outside men in recent years. Hopefully something that will improve under Webby with some decent shape and half decent centers who can pass.

He was my idol as a Warriors loving 8 year old! I remember I had a Warriors calendar on my wall, I can't remember which month it was that had his image but it stayed that month all year long (and probably longer!).

Learning from them is debatable. I swear he made the exact same error last year where he touched the goal line drop out before it went 10.

Due to his height and weight, he has poor acceleration but would probably have decent top end speed. His success will always be reliant on how good his centre is at putting him into space. If he got his weight down close to 100kgs, I think he'd be a lot faster but there'd be trade off.

Most responses will be he's fast "for his size"

Compared to the average NRL winger - average to below average at best.

Had my doubts with Pompey And Kosi, still do.....but they played well against the Knights and importantly certainly didnt let the team down.

Obviously Roosters will be a different kettle of fish and are capable of applying different pressure, but i think on the basis of last week (and now with D W Z out) they deserve their re-selection for this game at least.

I hope that we do target both halves when we have the ball and tire them out. I was surprised Ponga wasn't as targeted as I would have liked last week...

More defence please - if we play the way we did last week, with a little more cohesion, then we'll be going close to getting the bikkies on Saturday.

Also - how the f*ck do we already have significant injuries already?! Jazz, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Metcalf would all be pushing for a spot in th 17, while the other injuries would be in the mix - Sirro and Berry in particular. Having 6 of your top 30 unavailable for the first 4-5 rounds? Absolutely mind boggling

What team other than the Roosters have 3 - 4 certainties of their top 17 out injured for the first 4 rounds?

Happy to be proven wrong, but when we constantly have injury issues (last 3 years have been shocking) I think it might be something worth looking at
