Wighton was charged with a grade two offence for the 19th minute incident while Warriors prop Matt Lodge (dangerous contact) can escape with a $1000 fine following contact with Corey Harawira-Naera.

Lodge free to play if he takes the fine, which he bloody well should do 🤣
If that is the new normal for leading with your forearm then NAS will end the season bankrupt

I think we should be cautious in returning Dallin. The standard time for a concussion is a one game rest. However in this case he was unconscious for several minutes. I would give in a full two week break and bring him back in round 10 at earliest.

Tohu Harris Harris is coming back according to the paper
Round 9 best case
Round 10 or 11 more probable

What position will he play? Where did he finish playing last year before injury?
He will be a big in for our team allowing us to simultaneously add a very experienced professional while at the same time dropping a developing player from the 17.

We could go on a run once he is back and "has his eye in"

I don't know who should play centre next week. Murchie was very immobile when played there once for us against Storm or some other team.
Would feel better about Siro there maybe if we don't trust Berry to handle the elite Shark Centres. Siro can pass a bit too. Maybe he should be a centre as his best position?

Sironen - 6 foot 1 95 kgs - sounds like a solid hard centre with that profile

(If arthars is out, Berry sat down, and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak not back yet)

1 Walsh
2 Ratuva / Berry
3 Sironen
4 Vailea
5 Pompey
6 Asi
7 Shaun Johnson
8 Addin Fonua-Blake
9 Egan
10 Lodge (excellent not suspended)
11 Aitken
12 Ben Murdoch-Masila
13 Jazz

14 Kodi - he will definitely be 14 this week as they like his form
15 Pene
16 Afoa
17 Murchie

Unlucky Katoa

While I agree you need someone big to take on Talakai, speed against him is also a huge advantage. We are yet to see a team really outspeed him (moments of Staggs) but let's not forget he is a big slow unit out wide...

The guy dishing out the gradings for the judiciary must have been asleep for the last 12 months and not read the memo that Lodge now plays for the Warriors. Probably thinks he is still at the Bronco's. Well I cannot see any other reason why a Warriors player would not be banned for what Lodge did?

I think he'll play solely in the middle. For close to 40 minutes yesterday we didn't have a genuine #13 on the park. Tohu Harris will share minutes with Jazz & also have some at Prop. View attachment 47067
Great answer

Can you elaborate a bit as I am keen to understand?
Can you edit the below to make it sound realistic?

Tohu Harris to start at 13

Jazz becomes the 14

Jazz at the 25 minute mark subs in for Tohu Harris Harris
Harris comes off for a 10 minute breather
Harris comes on at prop at the start of the second half and does 20 minute stint to the 60 minute mark and then he comes off for the rest of the game.

As a result of him doing a stint at prop we only need to carry one of Afoa and Pene on the bench.

My personal preference is for him to beef up the second row so we can get Sironen out of there.

See what happens when you buy so many forwards. When you have a few injuries or suspensions in the back line you have no one any good to pick. Then you are looking at playing forwards in the backs to make up a team. It's just like social footy or golden oldies

Not too far off from my thinking Wrighty, well at least initially until he builds back to the 65+ minute sort of player he's been. Maybe Tohu Harris returns closer to the 60th minute so he's out there when the game is potentially in the balance at the death.
When he gets to 100% I think he'll move to Prop in the 25th minute, have a spell from 55-65 then finish at Lock

What do you make of Jazz's abilities at lock? Just want to learn the thoughts of the more experienced league men on the forum.

Maybe Brown taking the high road on the officiating a few games ago paying dividends now? Not serious but just a comment,,,

I'm just a dribbler but he's got all the qualities of a top tier Lock except the ball playing. Tough as, strong carry, can get some great late offloads away, decent at wrestling & has fantastic line speed. If he had the soft hands of Tohu Harris & a bit more vision then he'd have the total package.
