So if Dallin Watene-Zelezniak gets ruled out this week, and obviously Montoya is still unavailable, should they still drop Kosi for the next game? Who would our starting wingers be then? A debuting Ratuva and shift one of Pompey/Arthers to the other wing?

Maybe it'll be better to keep Kosi on for another game (Raiders may not exploit his weaknesses as well as the Storm) and if Ratuva plays well consider dropping Kosi when Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is back.

I'm not half as knowledgeable as some of the posters on here in regards to league but imo i think posters are being unfairly harsh on kosi of 1 game. I remember everyone praising him the last 2 games...

Manu, Shaun Johnson, Fusitua , Ken & Now Kosi. They're apparently the reason the Warriors have never won a premiership! Lol.
Granted, Kosi had one of the worst games I've seen from a Warrior. Even tops Manu's debut.

I just cursed at my TV at him. Had a moan for a couple of hours & said, Ok. That was shit Kos. You've got a ton of work to do, son. & moved on lol.

He's one of our most reliable players now.

It's less the errors and more the attitude, anyone can have a poor game but that was unacceptable. He gave up towards the end of that game and that alone deserves time out of the team, we do not need that attitude within a team that has been notorious for giving up over the years.

Upside - Kosi will never be that bad again. I don't know him personally but I haven't seen anything before that would suggest he would be a guy to give up. School boy errors, concentration and complacency - I think he was mentally shot - then over-whelmed and poo just hit the fan after that. Part of me says - see how he recovers at training mentally, see how the team responds around him too - do they have confidence....then support him with Aitken in the centre next to him.

On the other hand....I am so keen to see Ratuva have a run too. Maybe a few errors but definitely more 1 v 1 and finishing a break kind of potential.

Upside - Kosi will never be that bad again. I don't know him personally but I haven't seen anything before that would suggest he would be a guy to give up. One thing I will give Kosi is he bounces back with his attitude. He was mentally crushed in the day but with his background and the fight he’s had to do to get to the NRL I think he would mentally be reset by next weekend. It’s if we want to play him…

Also don’t get the hate for Shaun Johnson. We had 19 completed sets to their 37. Our defence lost the game. There’s nothing any halves pairing in the world can do when they don’t have any ball…

My take on the try when he appeared to give up was that he thought either:

a) the ball would go out
b) the other defender coming across would get there first

and that he was intent on blocking Coates path to the ball.

There were 13 tries scored and by my count more were scored down the right side defence than his side so where is the vitriol being thrown at those guys.

There were 2 players in the team who were credited with 100% tackle efficency and Kosi was one of them

I don't consider i've produced vitriol towards any player. I merely said I felt that attitude warranted a bit of time out of the side, I was very fair in my assessment that any player can have a poor game.

For sure, it would be irresponsible throwing him straight back in there knowing that it is highly likely the Raiders will target him. That's the kind of confidence shattering stuff that can ruin careers, no guarantee he'll ever regain confidence if he has another shocker.

Yep agreed. Not sure if put him straight back in this week now that we’ve signed another but agree, the hate rubbish has to stop.

Same for Brown, don’t know how fortunate we are to have a Coach who’s actually building something in a Club that’s been on the road for 3yrs or so.

We all need to get a grip a bit I feel.
