maybe he should give Kodi another go with Walsh in the side, but hook him for the week after if he does nothing again. Forwards look quite good. Backs look turrrrible. Not sure if there is a way to get 1 - 7 without some duds in it.

It is hard to know what the best course of action is for your juniors, when they inevitably get found out a bit.

I'd be tempted to stick with Vailea, his future seems to be FG. You either drop him and allow him a number of games in a row in reserve grade, or stick with him and hope that he comes good with that invaluable FG experience. What you don't do is treat him like a yo-yo, that'll ruin him. He sure did get himself into some weird positions at times today though.

I hope Ratuva kills it over the next few weeks in reserve grade.

I think it depends on the match up.

Vailea, Pompey or even Kosi should have been on the wing matching up against Ravalava. He is a one dimensional beast.

Montoya and Chanel Harris-Tavita having to defend him is a total mismatch as proven tonight.

Titans dont have prop wings, so I think its a better match up for Montoya and DZW.

Agree with the halves, think Walsh and Shaun Johnson give us enough attacking threats. Chanel Harris-Tavita's defence and ability to square up the line with Shaun Johnson/Walsh backdoor is a better option than watching Kodi soft serve off every ball without engaging the line for 80mins.

I can’t describe it but i feel like Kodi just has a losing mentality. The Chanel Harris-Tavita-Walsh connection on field has produced some really good attacking plays already.

I reckon he is a really good player a level down or when he gets a lot more space and he looks like a champion with his running game then when he gets to NRL level the space isn't automatically there and he loses confidence and goes into his shell and stops looking to run and the rest of his game (which is not superstar quality anyway) suffers as well.

He needs existing space to operate. He has no tackle breaking ability bc of his size. When the space is shut down he just shovels the ball onto someone in a worse position than himself. For me, he's lost any ability he had to break down a defensive line. He's more one dimensional than his highlights would lead you to believe.

I'm happy enough to see the guys get one more chance.
They did look like a team short of a gallop.

And some inexperience at left center, with an out of position player at Fb.

I guess it partly depends on how shook up Vailea is....I wouldn't throw him away if he can recover himself from stage fright?

Berry and Kosi didn't start well at first, both are better, especially Berry.

One more go for Vailea, and if it's not perfect but better, keep playing him.

Otherwise it's obvious, put Aitken back to center and maybe give Murchie another shot.

If Kodi stinks it up he's bench fodder or left right out.

Taylor and Johnson it is.

In fact I'd love to see Taylor play against his old team.

Titans about to kick off this arvo. Good chance to see what we're up against.

Plus he can't rely on a kick , unless there's space too.
