We are heading on a one sided hiding to nothing, this isn't the week to throw the young pups to the Panthers but let the incompetent players dig in or say goodbye to their futures.
There is no way Stacey turns them around the rot has set in, no belief in the team and the systems, the only hope is the Panthers rest some players or they are not totally focused.

I think it’s a good time to bring in some enthusiasm. There are some guys in that side who look absolutely drained and devoid of confidence. I don’t think it will be wholesale changes but a few young guys to freshen things up and have some belief is not a bad thing

Who are these young guys you talk of? We have been playing youngsters all year!

I hope we see Stace pick his own side this week. Shaun Johnson looked better against the Sharks, not great, but better. Walsh is over playing his hand massively. But we need his attacking spark.. Would love for him to play at 6, but I think his defence would be ripped apart. Especially with the Panthers.

We needs some size in the middle, Addin Fonua-Blake will help. But I'm not sure Aitken is working anymore, get him back at centre to take the tough carries and shore up the edge. Who are our best defenders? Pick them first. Lui, I don't see the point. Give Frei or a Kepu a go before him surely.

I'm not anti Johnson but he needs time out from being obviously frustrated and the centre of the strategy of tension running through the team - Agree with the idea he needs a week off, go back to NZ early etc.

Walsh at 6 seem a no brainer to me - he looks more like a 6 the more he plays at 1 ...

Chanel Harris-Tavita for his defense and organization of the line (he should know what's required in that respect)

Everything else looking is in consideration of blooding the young and up and comers - though, yeah, there's blooding and then there's bathing in blood...

Well then, seems like this is really happening..

Don't think it is the best idea to put him this week of all weeks, but to look on the plus side.. Stacey is making real change in the lineup, Volkman gets to test himself against the best Halfback in the comp, and Shaun potentially gets to go home early, see his family, and hopefully be rested and rearing to go for the Homecoming game.

Who are these young guys you talk of? We have been playing youngsters all year!

Was thinking of Katoa, Otukolo, and Volkman, as well as Curran being back on board. I think even though Katoa has made mistakes he has at least shown a willingness to compete physically. Would also like to see the 2 hooker rotation in play so that we can play quicker with more consistency
