Brown is an interesting personality.

He has a temper, a polite way of saying he used to have anger management issues, He was a bit of a firecracker as a player, and his first coaching stint was marred by that incident where he slapped his own player across the face.

I have a lot of respect for the man as a person, he has managed to grow and be this supportive man that man manages players well, while saying in the media that the Warriors were atrocious in their attack.

He can get away with it, he is not the sort of person any more that offends his dressing room by being outspoken.

The side we have yet to see from him, is the side where he rips the roster apart and plays guys who are so green they are going to get flogged all season, like he did year one at Newey...the strip down that holds him dear in the hearts of Newcastle fans to this day.

As such he is shrewed and ruthless.

I think that he would be a great guy for the Warriors as a football manager, he would be excellent in the role of bad cop to a skilled fg coaches good cop.

We all know he is not the worlds best NRL coach. But he has a will for doing what it takes.

Most fans have been happy most of the time with his use of the bench and his selections.
Agree with a lot of this. Brown will leave us after 3-4 seasons of Top 8 appearances, leaving the finishing touches of turning the Warriors into genuine Grand Finalists to someone more suitable to the task (will it be the return of Mr I Cleary, who just cannot live without Mr N Cleary?).

Just on your bad cop/good cop dynamic. One of the credits to SK and his work at the Storm as that as an assistant, he was Good Cop to Bellamy's Storm Out Of The Coach's Box And Rant And Rave Cop. Shouldn't your Bad Cop be your ultimate boss? Ie after the Good Cop has got you onside, you still have to do what the Bad Cop says once the message has been relayed more..."Diplomatically".

When Todd Payten took over last year you could see players lifting and improving with the more time he coached.... have we seen this with Brown?

Will watch with some interest this week with the Brown coached Warriors taking on a Saints side coached by Griffin, who many here, voted him as their favourite to coach our team.

I thought Payten was great last year. Ask the Cowboys fans if they have the same thoughts now

I REALLY want to just axe Nikorima all together, at same time Im wondering if he can seek redemption and payback some of the overs we have paid him by playing fast out of dummy half, given Egan cant play 80 mins either.

5/8th depends if Walsh is available, if not, it has to be Hayze Perham, Warriors only listed 5/8th and the only position he excels at, he is a waste in centres imo.

Turner to the wing to try something different, pace and X factor foot work.

Id like to have Walsh, Perham, Turner and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck all on the field at same time, that would be a can of XXXX factor

Kodi got rated 3.6 last match, Sean O'Sullivan 5.6, given Sean O'Sullivan has just started here, that says something about what people truly think about Kodi and his responsibility in the halves breaking down, not playing a 5/8ths role consistently, not being in offensive positioning as per N Browns comments and generally being an over priced bench warmer. Ive been waiting for this day ever since Warriors tried to knee jerk react and fix Georgie Pies total Flap up with Shaun Johnson and releasing all our other halves and Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.

Same point as the official team list;

Looks like Perenara is close to doing a deal with the roosters.

Which works out well for the Warriors trying to nab Brandon Smith again.

Keen to try Kodi at 9, more direct role, speed up the guts and offload to support player (insert Roger Tuivasa-Sheck). Turner a chance on the wing to show his speed. I think we may need to try a pace winger now, but do not want to let both big wings go. Hayze to 5/8th, he is a waste of talent at centre.

I think we are in a good space salary cap wise, we have enough talent with about $1.3m left over, if we can sign Cheese for $700k than we still have enough to cover any position we are weak in, ie should Hayze Perham, not work out at 5/8th as his talent says he should. Then who knows, short term deal with Reynolds, damn, Chanel Harris-Tavita and Reynolds in the halves.

Will have to look at the expected return rates for Aitken etc.
