Best Covid controls in the world while the virus rages in Tokyo. Makes you question our priorities.

I love the Olympics though, have watched them since I was a kid so it is a great relief it is on.

We will have to watch the announcements in the coming days, tomorrow will be critical for QLD, we should really know what is happening at the presser, NZ would have the tracing of such a small group locked in for tomorrows presser.

Not saying QLD are worse than NZ at Covid handling, they could be better. It is not really time to criticise with what is happening in NSW it is bigger than petty comparisons.

Hopefully the system gains confidence in the next few days and looks at the NRL as less of a threat while the state is set for Covid high alert.

I see Brown said in an interview yesterday that Aitken was always going to move into the 2nd row during his 3 year contract with us. Obviously he would have been aware of this upon signing. I guess the only question is do we do it now or wait

In the centers we have Berry, Aitkens, Pompey, Monty….

Unless they want Manu to partner Berry with Pompey as back up and Aitkens to lock

then we’re short on a quality half, if they sign Manu he has to be a 6 with our make up

Especially while he still able to score length of the field Trys and make a tight Wing combo on D....therefore solving the Warriors weakest defensive zone.

I think this team allows for our bench to keep the momentum after Addin Fonua-Blake and Lodge go off. 4 impact players that can provenly change momentum against all teams, they can do the job and then allows for full strength team to finish off the game.

I'd pull the pin on the Townsend experiment and just keep the halves rotation between Chanel Harris-Tavita/Sean O'Sullivan/Hiku and have Walsh more involved in the long kicking game.

Unless Townsend does to Sharks what Johnson and Maloney always did to us, and that's play 100x better against your old club. Won't know unless he's named I guess....
