Was just reading CHTs injury hasn’t required surgery and could make a comeback in about a month.

I am not a fan of Chanel Harris-Tavita - but I am glad for him that the injury is not as bad as thought - Lets just hope they do not throw him back in to the team like they did after his foot injury - The team was starting to look better and as soon as he was thrown back in the team looked terrible again. If we want to make the finals they can not afford to put Chanel Harris-Tavita back in. I feel with Townsend and Kodi, that is the combination we need for the rest of the season. Put Chanel Harris-Tavita back to the reserve grade to try and learn how to be a playmaker

Harsh but fair.
I don’t think he’s a halve.
Maybe beef up and move to the centre spot. With his ball playing skills and passing game he could become a gun centre.
Aitken isn’t that big.
How many of our players are back in NZ? Could be problematic getting them back to Australia for round 16.

So we eliminate an area of strength we used to have with Benny coming off the bench playing an edge, to move him in the middle where he's just so so and the net result is?
This is one criticism i have of Brownie...... if it aint broke.......i know continuity has been hard with all the injuries, but his constant fiddling with that pack look like its taken its toll with no longer the cohesive looking outfit it was earlier in the season.

If there’s any doubt I’d rather they rest him.
Having Dallin Watene-Zelezniak coming in allows Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to go back to FB but we don’t lose speed on the wing.
Chad partnering Kodi creates better balance in the halves - Chad to steer the team, Kodi to pull finger and actually have a crack.
Hopefully Egan is back - I’d keep Otukolo on the bench with Jazz dropping to 18th man.
Hopefully with Egan back and more balance in the halves can allow the forwards more space to wreck havoc. Addin Fonua-Blake having a 2 game run and a week to recover should hopefully see him back at his best or close to it on Friday.
Would’ve been nice to secure another front rower (Lodge) during the bye but hey, can’t get too entitled now the recruitment has been spot on thus far this season.

I agree Chanel Harris-Tavita should be either trialed at centre as Keighran was a revelation there after being ordinary at stand off
The other option I support is letting Chanel Harris-Tavita develop at half in reserve grade. Adamantly opposed to letting non first grade people develop to the required level in first grade
A small example is kosi
He played like 3 games in a row for first grade and instead of getting slightly better each time was poor in all of them and is quite high up on the try causes stats for the team despite only playing a few games
He then went down to Radcliffe fur 4 games before his next first grade appearance
When he came back he was 40 percent better and had actually improved significantly. My supposition is that had he played those four games for top grade he would not havr improved.
The time to execute is too low in first grade for developing players to gain any confidence or learn anything
