They are fairly confident Chanel has done his pec and will be out for the rest of the season.

Might be forced to give Otukolo a run with Jazz playing some time at dummy half as well. Not sure if they would shift Kodi there given the disruption we already have with Chanel Harris-Tavita missing.

Unpopular opinion - we’re a better team with out Roger at fullback. Hell of a player and one of my favourites of all time, but the way the Warriors have used him has meant he’s largely ineffective. He’s too easy to shut down as other teams know what he’s going to do.

Give him roving commission on the Wing or at Centre.

A positive from today was Kosi in my mind. Looked far more confident today, and didn't look out of place. I'd be happy for him to play again if Berry is sidelined also.

What's bugged me about this season is not knowing who is in our best back, who is a prop, who's a lock and who is a second rower. Seems every week we have a different incarnation. I think largely Brown is doing an OK job with what he's got, but this is doing my head in a little. I would go;

Ben Murdoch-Masila played 45 minutes and did a paltry 6 hit ups.
Was pumped up about him playing prop and thought it was a creative answer to our lack of go forward at prop. However he seemed to hang of the fringe of the ruck and wasn;t trucking it up with many prop-like hit ups.

Sean O'Sullivan is the game manager to replace Chanel Harris-Tavita. I would arguably have Sean O'Sullivan as the more complete 7 right now, albeit Chanel Harris-Tavita has longer term potential (and is a kiwi), hence the preference.

If Walsh played in the halves be is better suited to replace Kodi in the running role. Having said that, Walsh is probably a better organiser than Chanel Harris-Tavita as well…
