If the Coach doesn’t think this game’s winnable he can fuck off. This is a must win game, it’s hard to see where points come from without Walsh. Think we need to play flat and fast off the halves, and more sweep plays when we’re in good ball. I’ve got Ale on the bench to provide some flare and metres. Afoa Ah mau, brown have had a fair crack. I’ve got Katoa on the bench, think we need to persist with him we all know what he’s capable of, just needs some confidence I think, dropping him again won’t help that. get him in the middle tell him to run straight and hard.

I don't know if this is the game for Browny to be blooding rookies but he did it last time so why not. Tu, Vailea, anyone from Keebra High, Reece's 10 week old baby, the coach is a madman.

This season is very much alive for us - not all doom and gloom. We are 2 points from 6th . Realistically 6 clubs vying for ladt 2 playoff spots.
The next 4 games - Storm then we play Dragons, Sharks and Knights, all very winnable before playing the Panthers. The bye has come at a good time to refresh and reflect.
It doesn’t seem that long ago our top try scorer was a penalty try. We can now score them, just need to keep them out.
Walsh getting a forced rest v Storm probably not a bad thing same for Pompey.
Two weeks of game management simulation at training please

Not really worried too much about this game really.. honestly hope Jazz plays and gets suspended for a few weeks, so he's not around to screw up the games we should win, like he did v cowboys. Too many players out now and v storm probably a good thing ... would rather pick and blood a few of the boys who need a run.

Want to see Berry given a shot in the halves due to his long kicking game, showed a lot of it in Union playing fullback, and its something we will need with Walsh out. But he probably won't provide much in terms of last tackle options (not that we're good in that department anyway). Nikorima lucky to even be on the bench with Otukolo lurking. Wanted to drop Chanel Harris-Tavita also but lets be honest, he's better than SOS in every facet. Want to see Vailea given a shot on the wing. Tevaga dropped and I probably won't select him again this year, unless injuries happen.

Berry at 6 is an interesting one- we definitely need a kicking game in the halves- Chanel Harris-Tavita and kodi are both second rate kickers of the ball.
Wouldn’t mind a look at that and don’t have anything to lose playing Melbourne.
 
What is this calm feeling I have this week? Oh, right, The Warriors don`t play this week and get an automatic 2 points. I won`t have to spend this week thinking about if the team will put in a performance or not.
 
And I don't have to spend my week buying/selling/re-buying players on NRL Fantasy because one or two of them have that pesky red cross next to their names or are on a Bye or some bloody rule probably Mr Stick-My-Nose-In-And-Ruin-The-Man's-Game Vlandys came up with!

Now I can just sit back, relax and hope the Storm have serious team selection issues before the game next Sunday.

My only requirement for this game:
  1. Limited minutes for Addin Fonua-Blake to get some fitness, but not injury
  2. Blooding some younger guys
  3. Chanel + Niko to build some combos
  4. Egan to last the game
  5. No injuries
That's it really. I am not holding my breath for a win. I wouldn't mind seeing Jazz get banned for a few games.

Reece Walsh and Adam Pompey have both copped one match bans for striking and a crusher tackle respectively. Will miss game v Storm. Jazz Tevaga cops a fine for his dangerous contact.
 
Here is a discussion point I would like some feedback on. Against the Storm I wouldn't mind trying a Halves combination of O'Sullivan and Chanel Harris-Tavita.

O'Sullivan is an organiser, he is vocal and is always trying to get people into good positions. He is a footy head and I would think he would have handled that set before Chanel Harris-Tavita's DG better. He has a good boot as well.

Chanel Harris-Tavita over Kodi for one reason, Chanel Harris-Tavita is always trying to get into the game, he is a competitor, Kodi drifts in and out of games.

Against the Storm we will have Berry, who apparently had a good boot at High School.

Just a thought.

Unfortunately we will be defending for most of the game against the Storm which doesn’t showcase the halves very well...
