Scary when an 18yo FB is a better half than the clubs 'future halfback' 😬😬

ew, no, Chanel Harris-Tavita is a class above O'Sullivan.
Walsh is debuting, Chanel Harris-Tavita is coming back (early?) from an injury, so one has a massive point to prove while the other is easing back in. Luai also beats cleary in all of those stats (except tries), it's a silly comparison, more tries on the edges = better stats for second receivers.
Personally I think the two of them compliment each other well
I don't get the Chanel Harris-Tavita hate, really. If Chanel Harris-Tavita was making the mistakes Kodi has been making... maybe.

i would'nt he's a class above because he's not..weather you like o'sullivan or not for what ever reason or not [ like not fast enough or cant tackle ] the guy has more awareness about whats happening around him on the field than Chanel Harris-Tavita & nikorima [ one of these 2 have to be dropped sorry about the mistakes lol...10 wines too many

Scary how an 18 year old who is a couple of games in, should be our first picked every week.
If I had to choose between Walsh and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck I would pick Walsh.
The impact he has on the game is massive. Roger is a beast, He does his job, but he doesn’t create as many opportunities as Walsh does

I assume they’re playing there to be close to Terrigal?

Doesn’t sound like the best level of competition. Ideally we would just base them in Redcliffe for the year, and if they don’t get picked for QLD cup they play Hastings.

Doesn’t bode well for them cracking top 30 next year, especially with our SG ball crop from last year needing development contracts next year. Where will these 3 guys find themselves? Kalepo is probably safe with the hooker shortage.

Any idea of the form Glamuzina is showing? Looks like he’s played everywhere from prop to centre.
Dolphins pick all the players they want. Warriors don’t get to choose who plays in what team. Dolphins also have 3 hookers on there books which means no game time for taniela and temple. They play in the Newcastle comp which is Actually a pretty strong comp and saves a lot of time on travel. Same goes for glamuzina, he’s not getting picked so he plays in the local comp. Vagana has gone home I’ve been told for surgery on his shoulder.
Kepu twins and our other younger juniors play In the deering colts (under 21s) because they are still 18. The club see it better for the development of the older juniors in the Newcastle comp

Otukolo has played in 4 out of 5 of the Dolphins Colts matches & as recently as Sunday. Kalepo has featured just once though as an understudy to Otukolo in the first round.
What team in Newcastle do the Warriors send players to?

Yeh sorry, temple, glamuzina and vagana are the ones not getting picked and playing in the Newcastle league. Otukolo isn’t getting picked in the qld cup side because they have 3 hookers signed.
Glamuzina and vagana play for the entrance tigers and as mentioned temple has been playing for lakes United seagulls or something.
Newcastle league is almost a NSW cup reserves. Most teams have ex nrl players or fringe NSW cup players

I have been pretty clear in my own mind that this year is a rebuild, because of the new Coach and a multitude of new players, especially after the injury toll basically gutted any semblance of a campaign.

After Walsh arrived, hearing the news about AFBs return, seeing Aitken come back in....and some promise from the noobs like Berry....I am rappidly shifting to making a go of it now with what we have.

Walsh and Addin Fonua-Blake have changed the game, Ben Murdoch-Masila too. We can look forward to winning the up front stuff the majority of the time, getting a massive boot down town, and throwing together a attacking threat that has managed to out score in one half of football, a couple of top four sides....just a shame we were already flogged by then....

Still, the ingredients are there....and most of all....seen enough of Walsh now to know he is ready for the NRL.

He is robust enough, he is not fazed.

Brown has enough there to be getting on with it and targeting an appearance in the finals, as you say one game at a time.

They can make our open side fast by using Kodi, Aitken, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck......that is not too shabby with Walsh.

But yeah, I think it is time to flick the switch, yesterday we showed enough to suggest that this year every player seems to care about winning and not letting themselves get disgraced...we have a pretty nice team if the Coach can unlock the guys and sort our our defence.

Our fitness is fantastic, yesterday we made over three hundred tackles and still mounted a come back. Props to the trainers and players they have really done a job this year. We tend to start fast...lately it is our bumbling that has stopped that happening. We also finish games still trying, off the back of some decent endurance.
I had us as at best mid table going into this season, even with the dominance Addin Fonua-Blake and Ben Murdoch-Masila provides.....purely cause i didnt think we had the halves to make the most of it......that opinion still hasnt changed.

What has changed is we now now have the x factor of Walsh......id prefer to see him playing in the halves off the back of a fully fit pack providing momentum, plus he already has a better kicking game than either Kodi or Chanel Harris-Tavita.....think to be a serious contender u need to have a number of boxes ticked......Walsh ticks one that we couldnt before.

If Rogers on the wing he needs to play left, that’s where all the good ball’s going. Maumalo’s doing nothing with the space he gets out there. Brown needs to put a little faith in Katoa. Wtf is going on there, just needs proper mentoring imo he’s getting played all over the place. But he needs to be in the team 100%

I still have Addin Fonua-Blake as first picked for this team even above Walsh who Is my favourite player to watch.

Addin Fonua-Blake was so good that when our backine was so disorganised our plan was to use forwards to score trys...the Warriors were managing to win more games.

I know it is horses for courses with Walsh playing some of the worst teams in the Storm and the Eels...and only seeing half games.

But we were hanging on against the Roosters with Addin Fonua-Blake he is that good for the team.

Ultimately we will see both and that will open a few eyes around here....If our backline can sort its shit out we can force our way to some gritty wins over some of the big boys, some of the time....as underdogs....but still....a low placed finals berth is not dead if the stars align and we could go a little further than anyone expects.

A lot would have to go our way starting with Kodi and Chanel Harris-Tavita....this year is on them, they are the weak point atm relative to the best teams....and relative to Walsh.

The good thing about Walsh coming on later is you can fairly judge that he is twice as good as Kodi and Chanel Harris-Tavita, that is just the truth of what we are seeing every week when he...lets just say what we are seeing....when Walsh makes the whole Warriors team play better than Chanel Harris-Tavita, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Kodi can.

He is a genuine super star and Brisbane really fkd up big time.
