Pick Your Team 2021 Rnd 10 - Warriors vs Eels
MAGIC ROUND

Eels1

After the Round 9 game against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles do you want to see any changes for the Round 10 game against the Parramatta Eels at Suncorp Stadium?

Promotions?
Demotions?
Any new injury concerns?
Any returning players?
Any tweaks to the bench?

Discuss.

TEAM LIST THREAD FOR TUESDAY WILL BE POSTED AT 2pm NZST FROM NOW ON...

Hoping Montoya and Aitken are ready, Hiku in the conversation would be good too.

I think in the last two weeks we have shown our attack is building. While the Eels on paper thrash us, that is down to our defence, not our lack of attack.

So clearly we need to hope our edges improve in defence, if they do, we have a game on our hands.

I think against the Eels this week we will need to add some size and mobility in the forwards. A strong argument you would think to include Murchie in the 17.
Against the SeaEagles if we had our time over you would have had Chanel Harris-Tavita on the bench and Reece to start.
The Eels definitely will be without Dylan Brown and Niukore for this game so will be interesting to see how they line up. Getting up quick on Paulo and RCG will go along way to determining the outcome of this match and in doing so minimising the impact of Moses and getting the ball to Sivo. They will be looking to target the edges again injecting Gutho where possible.
Brown has admitted as much to not getting it right with interchange and how to best use Reece Walsh. Ben Murdoch-Masila off the bench is needed for interchange impact as we are not getting it with current interchange who are more solid than impactful.

Sironen needs to be dropped and never sighted near a first grade side again. He offered nothing at the Rabbits and not surprisingly offers nothing at the Warriors. An unfortunate waste of cap space.
Yea particularly when we have Curran/Katoa/Murchie to fill the backrow positions. Rather play Ben Murdoch-Masila through the middle as none of our current middle forwards provide any punch carrying the ball this is not including Addin Fonua-Blake.
