Regarding our attack:
"Cappy" Mcfadden left at the end of 2018, he was the 'Attacking coach' right? He was replaced by Todd Payten, a former prop/second rower. The full coaching staff is made up of three second-rowers (Kearney, Iro, Payten) and one halfback (Stacey Jones). As far as I know, there's not a lot of high level success amongst those guys, in any of their coaching positions. 2018 was the last time it seemed like we could score a try.
Regarding Green:
Green is part of the senior squad, and seems to be one of the only halfbacks in the whole organisation, so his experience is needed, but his execution as a player has not been great lately. As people are saying, he is slow, and his kicking is less than accurate. So this is my crazy idea, could he "pick up an injury at training" that means he has to avoid contact. Give him a few games as a waterboy/trainer. Direct the team, but give someone like Chanel Harris-Tavita (we need someone who can kick) the #7 jersey?
In the past I think coaches have fallen on the sword for this club, when the players weren't really putting the effort in. I think the players are trying right now, but it doesn't look like there's a decent plan for them to actually win games. The coaching staff needs a full rebuild, and a plan in place that fits the squad.
