Not sure how it would work playing Jennings and Alvaro this week. What of the fallout if they injured a Parra teammate? Or what if they didn't have such a good game - it would raise questions as to whether they actually put in. Or what if its the opposite and one of them makes the match winning play? Not saying any of that would likely happen but surely they wouldn't risk it?

If they aren't named we would probably have to go with the following:

Jennings and Alvarro were extended for one week ie to yesterday i believe. Unless extended again that is them for he rest of the season.

We have other players who can play...eg Beale

Our coach has stated that he wants to give all of the squad a run as as a reward for their services. Surely Parra won’t allow Alvaro and jennngs to play this coming weekend ? I definitely wouldn’t if I was them. I’d imagine they may also be sitting with the Parra squad if not playing.

Good point, if they aren't allowed to play then ok but otherwise you gotta keep the same 17 really. We would miss Jennings that's for sure.

You think that they would take the softly softly attitude against a team that doesn't value them enough to pick them ? Any NRL player worth their salt would be gagging for this kind of opportunity.

Parra are in a bit of a lose-lose here, they'll look like cats if at the last minute decide Jennings and Alvaro can't play against them, they should have made the call 3 weeks ago.

But they are starting to get the wobbles, they could really use this win and Jennings is in better form than their all-star winners, one can't score a try, the other can score them but does not like the tough stuff.

The warriors don't even have a real spare winger and prop available, so they probably should tell us "no"

Would have to do some weird stuff like move Hiku to the wing and Keighran to his center spot and play one of the backrowers as bench prop just to get a team out - that's how thin the deck Payten is working with is.

Hiku HAS to stay at centre. He's in career best form and has made me vomit with the kgs of humble pie I have had to eat.

Maybe that's the case, but its another reason why they shouldn't be playing. The loan system has been great with the circumstances we have been under this year. But playing against the club you are currently contracted to is a step too far. Way too risky in terms of potential fallout.

For Jennings who doesn't have a contract for 2021 ?

That's right, but its not about Jennings himself. Its about the interests of the club he is contracted to and its members. They will make their decision.

Yeah business over pleasure. I get it. Arguably, with their team flopping, it would be a good news story for Parra to have a player in the good news story team of 2020. When a team faints out of contention members need a good news story. Yeah, I said good news 3 times ( well 4 actually now ). 2020 needs more good news ( 5 ).
