Sharks got absolutely hammered by Penrith today. Based on that performance, they are definitely beatable. They're very ad-lib in attack by the looks of it, and just about everything good that they do goes through Johnson. Shutting him down is the most important thing to keeping them quiet. Defensively they didn't look too sharp either, especially on their left, but the Panthers are potentially the best attacking team in the comp so we won't be as stern of a test.

They may be without Fifita (hamstring) and Talakai (HIA) as well, which will be huge for us. We're definitely in with more of a shout in this game than many will think.

The Sharks blew the Titans off the park just last week, and we couldn't string a point together against Penrith. Sharks are just a rung above us overall across the park, I would be very surprised if we win that game.

Reality check, we are not a top 8 team, now and again emotions give the boys a boast of energy, and the opposition have a bad day at the office.

Basically give the rest of the squad a look in once the boys return home on compassionate grounds.

Sharks to win just hope it isn't a blowout.

I like him but not sure there is any point in bringing him back for one game before he goes home.

Imagine he is coming because they arent picking him. Put him on the bench and he will likely stay on.
I dont blame him. He has been there all pre-season does reasonably good on debut ...then they start drafting in other players and he gets left out.

He doesnt have a contract for next year ....if the club want him to stay simply offer the bloke a contact for 2021 and indicate you want him around.

Oh yeah they're absolutely better than us, didn't mean to get anybody's hopes up too high hahaha. But I think we're in with a chance if we play how we did against the Broncos -- resolute in defence, patient in attack. That will prove much harder against the Sharks of course.

I also think that’s the reason but it’s a poor attitude. This is an opportunity to train well and put his best forward forward and wait for an opportunity rather than expecting one.

I guarantee he has now limited his chances of being re-signed next year.

I'm glad the Warriors have kept the lads for this game. I dont like the Sharks. It really annoys me over Rudolph. Mainly because they pulled exactly the same stunt with Townsend years ago.
I feel our club is disrespected by the Sharks.
Throw in Shaun Johnson who could have told us earlier he was unhappy at the Warriors and I want our team to go out there and get into them.
Nothing less than 2 points against that lot!

Shaun Johnson plays a lot on the sharks right at second receiver - where our defence is looking like it will be Katoa - Nikorima - Hiku - Maumalo. Sad to say he's going to have a field day. Peyten needs to make some adjustments if we want to shut down Shaun Johnson - Harris to left back row and Hiku to left right out.

loan players are great and all but why were they being brought in when guys like king, ale, pulu sat in the stands? if we are permitted a squad of 25, how fucking amateurish is it that a good chunk of that 25 isnt even trusted for even a bench role. only at this club.

Could be a catch 22 where we need more bodies but nobody will loan us players who aren't going to play.
