I'm talking about the three of them working together. They were pretty solid as a unit. You're joking right? Hiku led the team in missed tackles. People were calling for his head all year.
Warriors right side was their weaker defensive channel in 2018, they gave up 33 tries through there vs 30 via the left. So without turning it around to the alternative net tries debate that obviously includes Shaun Johnson's significant contribution to try assists, your assertion that they were a strong defensive unit in 2018 is inaccurate.I'm talking about the three of them working together. They were pretty solid as a unit.
They scored more tries than they conceded.
So no, I'm not joking. But thanks for asking.
The warriors touch team make their debut at this game..
Fully agree. He offered nothing. Made the same mistakes. Certainly gave no reason to even consider him for first grade. It is my belief that Kata's position at right centre is now untenable.
His poor performances prior to the Melbourne game are well known. When coupled with Herbert's debut he simply cannot be left out - Herbert is also 22, not some young 18 year old.
However, anyone that watched the Canterbury Cup game against the Bulldogs on the weekend will have seen Kata put in another performance so poor that he looked out of place in reserve grade.
If Solomone Kata is picked ahead of Herbert tomorrow I'll return my Membership
I only had Papalii starting due to his defense. 47 tackles last game, and was making some big one on one stops.
Papali'i was huge last game. He really rose to the occasion...I only had Papalii starting due to his defense. 47 tackles last game, and was making some big one on one stops.
I respect your opinion but i wouldn't have Kata back near first grade at the moment, watching him in ISP on the weekend was really disappointing, you would think he would do whatever he could to get back into first grade and that would be playing well enough which i don't think he did, his effort on defence was poor and and as other posts have said he just didn't look interested. If Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is out then Hiku to FB and Beale in, Beale doesn't set the world on fire but he does his job - other than that a lot to like about this team and think they will beat the Knights.
