Not discounting Lukes performance yesterday as it was filth. But he had a disjointed pre season, starting late and then had minimal contact due to shoulder for quite a time. Then he didn't didn't get any trials under his belt, was probably thrown into the mix only due to Roaches injury on a wet night in Campbelltown.

He'll be better for the run, but he better not put on a showing like that again. We need 2018 Luke if we are to be winning games this year.

We really need Luke going well as another point of attack, AK is still a bit green to expect too much and Kakariki was OK but the Tigers knew he was getting the ball so were able to pressure him.

Yeah I'd agree with giving Lawton a run too. What's the point of having him in the squad if he doesn't get on the field when the two first choice hookers aren't 100%

It's not all about run metres opening 20. He'd do far more damage coming on after the opening exchanges. Paasi, the back 3 and co. will get us moving.
