1. All players must be named 1-17 in exactly the order they play on Saturday (16/03/19). If a player is named #18 in the #4 spot they will be considered as #4. Order is more important than number.

To me that means position over number matters....

see i read that as they go out named 1-17

if you had:

1 Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
2 Fusitua
3 Hiku
4 Kata
5 Kenny
etc

and Kata had been named at 18 with beale named at 4 but on game day beale dropped out and kata came in giving you

1 Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
2 Fusitua
3 Hiku
18 Kata
5 Kenny

I didnt take it to mean that he was named at 4 so must play left centre. or Ak named at 6 must not ever feed a scrum etc

My Top3 picks, based on two interpretations would be

A) Numbers as per NRL.com game-day team list page ()

Sup42 with 14, followed by Razzrillinger on 12 and Adaulu239, Fizurg and Inruin with 11.

B) "Rules of the game" numbering, with 4 being left centre 5 being left wing, 11&12 interchangeable and 8&10 interchangeable, and everyone else as per numbered

bringmethehorizon with 14, followed by Adauli239, Panther and Fizurg at 13 and Sup42 at 12.

This sort of infighting is why, on the old VOT site, I stopped running a Last Man Standing Comp (similar to the Knockout Tipping Comp. on here run by Oman).

Hat's off to mt.wellington and oman for starting/running these for us.

My vote would be that no one wins and to open it up for Round 2. I can also put my hand up to help manage if you need additional help.

My vote would be that the numbers they wear wins the comp.

That would probably mean I would have won it bleh. LOL.

But honestly it seems two folded to allow for guesses at where they are despite the numbering, from a competitors pov it makes sense just to get the numbers on the day right KISS . . .because that allows for Kearneys often and frequent abuse of NRL numbering and invites the competitor to try to really get into the mind of Kearney with all his number fiddling.

I'm not talking about this comp. The rules were made clear, too bad too sad if like me you didnt read them properly.

I can see your point, but Kata for example was named as 4 and played at 4. There is no rule in the NRL that says 4 must be left centre
