If he doesn't get used at all I'd seriously question the signing given we let Hingano go.
We swapped a reserve grade half/hooker with a reserve grade half/hooker, thats just 101 squad filling.

It's on Lawton that he hasn't stamped his mark on reserve grade, to lock down a starting spot down there over Cook.

The games i've watched he hasn't been a clear standout in reserves, bar a couple of DH breaks against the Sea Eagles who we beat 34-4 and couldn't defend anyway.

The Titans let him go because he was there 4th string hooker behind Peats, Rein and the bloke I forget. I certainly don't think Kearney had him coming thinking he was gauranteed FG minutes.

I'm 100% sure Smith, Kearney and co are all over ISP and work with J.Teina who they want starting and what sort of minutes they want certain players playing.

Oh sweet. That’s a decent lunch, what about dinner?

That was just for the pre breakfast starter which comes for pre breakfast followed by breakfast then 2nd breakfast then smoko then protein power shake that's got doughboys and bacon bones in it and then to lunch. The hangi comes out at tea time bro.

Lawton was injured for a few weeks so hasn't had too much time to prove himself but I think he has enough of a Titans first grade highlights package to show he can handle it and can be more than a journeyman. The jury is still out on Cook. If Cook gets picked to start I wish him all the best but it's going to be an interesting next six weeks. Tevaga should be a back-up bench option only with more of a view to spending time at lock.

Why Lisone out of interest ?
Not actually the team I would select but the one I think will get selected.

The way I see it its out of Sam Lisone, Albert Vete or Chris Satae.

Albie has more impact at the line but if you watch him carefully he is very slow to react and spends a great deal of time back peddling around the marker area.

Chris Satae simply doesn't have the stamina to last a 50 minute stint if he is called upon to do it...

1 RTS
2 Fusitua
3 Hiku (If Beale was fit I would give him a run here, not for Kata)
4 Kata
5 Maomalo
6 Green
7 SJ
8 Blair
9 Lawton (I know nothing about him but hes a hooker)
10 Afoa
11 Papalii
12 Harris
13 Mannering (Not on the edges, I dont know what it is about him on the edge but the defence seems weaker when he is there)

14 Tevaga (To sub for Lawton but thats it, enough with playing him in the forwards)
15 Paasi
16 Sao (nearly forgot about him, bigger than Lisone and more direct)
17 Gavet

In summary
I think Hiku is a bit Inu-like but without the Flair, hes inconsistent. Kata is a handful for oppositions
The Warriors forwards were too ineffective last week, NAS's charge with 3 or 4 forwards hanging off him through the middle of the field was the moment the Warriors defence completely crumbled in the first half
Tevaga is not a forward
Blairs offload to the Storm seemed like the last touch the Warriors had for 20 minutes in the first half because of the Warriors defence, I hope he doesnt put it away because of that

Despite the ANZAC ambush, I Believe that the Warriors will beat the Tigers next week.
The long break will give the team a chance to rest and refresh. Also need to rethink our defensive structures and give real thought to one on one tackling
We'll have experienced players back on deck. This week's reserve grade game could have a real bearing on 1st grade selection next week - Cook, Lawton, Sao, Gavet spring to mind
We're playing at home

On the other hand.
Luke is a major loss
The Tigers are playing well
They have a number if ex Warrior players and coaches involved as well as NZ'ers so will have a real desire to win

It seems strange when the Warriors aren't playing, weekend is not the same!

It is strange. I guess we will see if the team can bounce back. They need to. The Tigers on paper dont scare me and I feel the eels may tip them up this weekend. Cleary is a smart coach though. Warriors have a bit to work on.

Satae might be a good option next season if Corvo gets to keep developing their fitness AND endurance.

Apart from keeping Lino to see how well he'd go at hooker, does his kicking add another reason to keep him? Okay, neither Shaun Johnson or ML are amongst the top kickers in the NRL at this stage, but I'd to have our two best kickers on field if possible, as it seems kicking penalties is playing a bigger part in team's thinking this season.

Has the Warriors ever beaten a Cleary team? Just like Cleary knows how to beat the Storm he also knows how to beat the Warriors. The Uncle Ivan factor alone is worth points...

Its a totally different team this season .
So he won't have an inside working knowledge

But he is a good coach .An tigers are competitive
But SK an the recruitment team Have put together to
Strong a side .Its up to the boys if they turn up we have a better team.

Did we win that home game in 2014 I think it was that Tomkins and Soward were getting into each other for the WWE midget championship? Or did they get over us in the end which is what I suspect happened.

Playing his sides since he left has been hard work. Even the years the Panthers struggled.

A saving grace this year could be the large turn over in the off season. Different players hopefully different habits.
