I like Hiku and I think he he is the best attacking centre we have but fuck does it worry me having him in this finals team. Boys could grind it out for majority of the game just for Hiku to let in some soft trys down his edge and were fucked.

He could also be a beneficiary and catalyst to a six try haul to Te Fusitua.

His attacking potential among that death lineup on our eight edge might just be worth it.

I'm sure his attitude has improved after sitting in the corner with the dunce cap on.

Even if he can just improve his attitude I'd keep him for the ability to score some and set up some. His link work has improved to a good connection with Te Fusitua.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Mannering (and Green and Pulu) all being "probable" is great news.

We will be able to put out our best team (for one of the few times this year) and I am sure they are professional enough now not to play if the risk of re-injury or under-performance is too high.

You just swayed me back to Beale

Beale will do most of the offense Hiku will, but he will also run a reverse angle or step, like Kata is wanting to but not over the top of players and pass when the pass is on lol. And there you have Beales experience in big games (like Hiku) and his defense which is the clear gap.

I dont actually think our centres are the prob on offense, I think its been the concentrating on defense and fitness phase this year we just havnt really got the team fully knowing each others play just yet and when you only have 3 Red Zone plays and the rest is relying on natural instinct, thats the problem. I think Kearney has to let them loose. Play their game, yes play structured, but if Luke takes off dummy half, somebody like Shaun Johnson or even Roger Tuivasa-Sheck should be sniffing his heals every time, same with offloads. That is what will win the game imo. If we play structured footy only, we wont win. Its like our core now and well done SK. But Bellamy doesnt restrict his players yet plays game management looking for the opposition to make the mistake first. Next year is our year I truely feel that. But who knows if we turn up to play.

That comment about Corvo and another year is really relevant, we had teams puffing at the 10 minute mark start of season, if our fitness continues we will have 80min forwards in every position bahahaha. No, it will be good to start again with maybe even another slight advantage.
