SK might just sit Beale on the bench. I don't know.

I don't think Vuna is finals ready.

Beale is but not a forward that can help rotation.

But most pubs around NZ you'll be lucky to get a single screen playing it while the ABs destruction of Argy rattles on in the background.

Reminds me of trying to watch the NRL in Bali at an Australian themed sports bar - one screen with the game on mute vs a dozen screens showing AFL at full volume.

I just wonder if desperate enough if Beale could replace mannering. Given mannering did start at centre, at least in union. Beale isnt tall or heavy but. But he does hit the ball up like the back 3 when he plays. Desperate times call for.... lol

It wouldnt be a bad move to give assurance of a hiku rock. But i still like Lawton. I really feel hes a talent and plays with passion like Rapana.

LOL. Sadly NRL was losing a fair chunk to AFL and some to union strangely for a period there. Im not sure about the last 8 years as Ive stopped watching it. But it definitely had a MUCH larger female fan base. I do wonder if this is part of the Women In League and lady NRL show hosts etc, to get more women into the fanbase to stop the flow going to AFL.

But AFL is HUGE. Its not like union compared to league in NZ huge difference, but its significant.

Shudder, reminds me of my days in WA, no union and league 4 hours late and being a Swans supporter in WA. Horrible sporting memories. Luckily the place is gorgeous.

We should have a massive fan base at ANZ.

Id say thats highly likely especially if penrith arent selling it out. or is it the other way round lol. wont be like Warriors at Suncorp kind of deafening Warriors chants but I think we will get strong support.

I have said this already but it bears repeating. How far the Warriors go will be partly determined by how much fan support they get.

C'mon Australian-Kiwi fans!

Steady on, lets wait and see hehe. Its a sternum, they hurt like F if you get an elbow or something pointy to it and it doesnt go away overnight but it doesnt last weeks. He hasnt fractured it surely? He wouldnt have played any more minutes if hed seriously damaged a sternum. Disclosure Im not a doctor and dont know what Im talking about aside from having mine dented twice, once not so bad, hurt for 2 days, once quite badly (the pain I mean) lasted 5 days. Again, not a doctor, somebody else might know how long his will take.

But yes I agree, if hes not up for it we have options for the bench and somebody off the bench will start. Who would you play from ISP is the question? Im presuming the extended named squad has a good enough option?
I just thought he looked beyond sore, he looked at the other level someone as strong as him rarely gets to.

If we do go into battle without Manners, we are poorer for it. While he may not be the player he was, he's still a talismanic figure, a senior leader, a more than reliable defender, consistent, and capable of surprising attacking skill when least expected.

Just on the differences between us and the Panthers, we are actually very similar.

Both mobile teams suited to a dry fast track.

Both stacked with Xfactor players.

In the forwards Kikau is no joke, it's a real shame Pulu got injured otherwise he and Tohu Harris would have easily tipped the scales back to even / favoring the Warriors.

Luke is in a class of his own when he's on.

The Panthers lack experience, that is where they really show their limitations and probably why they struggle with dumb penalties and getting into games right from the kick off...it is also probably why they slid when their coach (who they apparently didn't like) was bumped.

We have that experience factor this year.

They have Maloney and an Origin rep in Cleary.

We have a team stacked with Kiwi internationals, not just the usual Warrior default Kiwi reps, but key international players.

Luke, Mannering, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck. Shaun Johnson, Blair, Tohu Harris, and the Aussie vet Green...the winning of this is on your shoulders men, you have the experience to put Penrith under pressure, and to prove that the team who plays smarter wins this game.

I think we can take the Panthers, Maloney was bought back way too early. I think we are a better team in footy terms: they have roughly equal talent, but play like a rabble - but.... if you give them a sniff they will roll you. We have to break them early.

They are also a bit of a cheap team though so we will have to watch out for HIAs (that they won't get penalised for). Luke will be targeted for lots of 'whoopsie' high shots.

Our key injuries have made us look more inconsistent than what we actually are, so lots of fans are underestimating us, but I don't think coaches are.

The main difference between to two teams I believe is that the Panthers can put a lot of points on the opposition fast. We haven’t really shown that ability at all this season.

I know mate, it always does. Its hard to explain, other than you know like getting kicked in the googlies, the pain is so intense at first but it subsides rather quickly. well it doesnt feel the same it and collar bones, ouch. but that analogy, its kind of like that but just longer time frame. ive not known anyone to injure one beyond 4 -5 days pain so like i said im not really an expert. its basically bone on bone, more like hitting ur shins on something dull kind of pain. anyway thats how it felt to me.

Im pretty confident we will be full squad. The key to me is Hiku or Beale or both, and or Tevaga vs Lawton, that one doesnt cover your forwards aside from hooker but covers hooker and every back position. but Jazz to be fair has been digging in with the tackles for a while now. I think we should pick one centre, Jazz and 3 boppers. We are going to need to deal with being run over up the middle hence why i think its boppa time, but at the same time we need edgey offense, to be honest, with the offense gameplay they have run all year there isnt much we can change aside from hiku or beale. BUT Green will be back and is the much better game manager than Shaun Johnson, Lino is good but green is better. also green and linos bombs and end of set kicks are better, id say lino is the best of the 3 for grubbers. But its Green and Shaun Johnson clearly. Shaun Johnson is pivotal, if he goes into his shell, we wont win, that simple. Penrith have players like the old Shaun Johnson, cleary for a start and maloney aint half bad, then you got the backs. Dont forget they smashed us with no Cleary or Maloney and 3 other key players missing. SMASHED us, thats why the Hiku thing is a tough decision because it was that game he basically got dumped after.

I keep changing my mind between the 2 centres. But there is a 3rd option, Beale and Hiku, Kata on the bench. But they been using him on the short ball lately a lot which is our 3rd set gameplay option. The rest is really just instinct.

I thought Corey Oates was gonna topple Fusitua yesterday after he got his 5th but was denied. Didnt know N Vagana scored 5 in a game. Was that with the sharks....

1000000%. As ive said before I think Sks doing the bennet/bellamy thing, 3 stages/gameplays. Completion rate year 1 if successful move onto Fitness and Defense year 2, if successful year 3 move onto Offense. At least its certainly seems so because he really suffocated our natural game last year but we were 4th in completions. 2nd in red zone defense. I think next year all going well could be the golden ticket finally.
