Pick Your Team 2017 Rnd 7 - Raiders vs Warriors

Albert+Vete+NRL+Rd+2+Canberra+v+New+Zealand+8mlG3f4-693x.jpg

After the Round 6 game against the Parramatta Eels at Mt Smart Stadium do you want to see any changes for the Round 7 game against the Canberra Raiders at GIO Stadium?

Promotions?
Demotions?
Any new injury concerns?
Any returning players?
Any tweaks to the bench?

Discuss...

If Matulino is fit he comes in for Gubb/Sao (most likely Sao if minutes played is anything to go by.

surely Matulino needs to have a run in lower grade footy?
I agree, it would be a kick in the guts for guys like Gavet who has had to earn his stripes in the reserves.

Is Matulino a realistic prospect for this game? If so, he comes straight in for Gubb. There is no question about that. Matulino, Gavet, Lisone and Sao will give us a platform to compete with that monster raiders pack.

Agree with that in part, if Matulino's passed fit he should come in possibly for Sao who only managed 12 minutes this game.

No-one expects him to be match fit but he'd be capable of putting 20-30 minutes in out on the park, he's a seasoned first grader after all.

It's a tough one-
On one hand we've been winning and there are also some props in reserve grade banging the door down so no need to rush mutts back- he may be better getting some good minutes under his belt in reserve grade?
On the other hand- it's mutts we're talking about here- seasoned international and our number one prop- if hes fit you've gotta pick him right?
Hmmmm

These guys are just starting to get it together.

Our borderline players all seem to be try hards.

Keeping try hards till the defence clicks is probably the way to go.

Time for more patience.

Keep the Gumbies. If we could get dudes like Gubb, Kata, Ken, Lisone, Ayshford, tackling well, their natural drive could do all the flog work for our super spine.

We need dudes that go hard all the time, for the bigger picture, a shift in culture.

Same team for me.

Mutts not back for another 2 weeks apparently. We will see where we are at after Canberra with consistency and injuries that may dictate if he palys first grade or is in NSW cup.
