Personally I think that is an amateur mindset and excuse
Look at football, basketball, AFL true professional sports and you'll see a coach is given one season to show they're a good fit for the club.
24 games to prove your value is way more than enough time needed in the nrl
Going for a record 9 losses (at the END of the season!) tells everyone loud and clear you're not adding value but destroying it
Sorry Stephen but facts are facts
It didnt work out but we needed a different direction
All the best Stephen but your role is going up for preference selection
Sell the Warriors to a Russian or Singaporean billionaire. The likes of Roman Abramovich are very quick to sack managers if results aren't forthcoming. Look at Leicester City F.A. in the EPL. One year ago they won their first-ever Premier League title under a new coach, Claudio Ranieri. Then, 5 months into the current EPL season, Ranieri gets the sack for poor results. The coach, only 1.5 years into his contract and a year after winning the big one, gets the boot. The Warriors needs an owner who has the balls to make harsh calls; Eric Watson was just too hands-off and always absent.
