Lillyman has been one of our most consistant forwards in terms of metres gained. He's not the player he used to be, but still one of the first picked in this mob.

Kearney needs to show Kata can't keep being rewarded with first grade starts for his inept performances, he should've been dropped 5 weeks ago and he would probably be back now with a new hunger for the game. You've got Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad who is 3rd (equal) try scorer this year for the club, can't get a look in.

Picking Kata and leaving out Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad just does my head in.

This is a poor side in that although there a rock stars, some as SK says are just not FG. That is not Kearney's fault but why does he ignore Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, who can play FG for a guy who just cannot.

Centre is a pivotal position. Kata needs massive reprogramming, and FG is not the place to do that.

I know everybody blames Kearney for the performance but if half the squad is not up to FG even Bennett would have trouble, but I wonder if Bennett would pick Kata when he has the option of Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.

The pressure of First Grade is far too immense for learning the basic skills... You just get absolutely blitzed on every single fuck up.. And when you name is Solo Kata, you're getting blitzed a lot. Nobody can learn under that kind of pressure.

Yup Lillymans meters have been fine, problem is our middle is as soft as coke dick, and hes one of the two meant to shore it up.
Still missing Michael Luck in that regard, as while 100m a game is fine from Lillyman, he cant put a shot on, he cant shoot out and stick a heavy one on one tackle, in fact he gets turned inside as regularly as the Hoff, which is a lot.

Lillyman would be a great bench prop if we had the numbers.
