I quite like this team - i would not have Thompson there, would like to see Afoa in as his replacement. Now that they've won though can't see any changes - only hope that kata/thompson get injured. Kata just isn't offering anything and can't justify his spot at the moment either.

How do we fit Gavet back in the team? All those forwards justify their spots for next week, based on that performance, especially the reserves (Vete, Afoa & Lisone).

As for Thompson, I thought he had his best game of the year yesterday

Pity that the NSWarriors also have a bye next weekend - it could have been a good time to allow Thompson and Kata to drop down next weekend to try and regain their confidence.

Gavet is our best prop, this is not up for debate. He played his way into an incumbent role, deserves his first prop picked status based on form and more importantly consistency.

I don't like changing winning teams either, but players who earn the Jersey....get first rites when coming back from injury.

James has all four badges now.

Form
Consistency
Professionalism
Experience.

Vete and Lisone were awesome, but they have only achieved a form showing thus far.

It would be a red hot debate were it not for Gavet owning his position game, after game, after game.

I'm thrilled Vete and Lisone are putting pressure on the incumbent props, that's their Job.....( the same path Gavet travelled as a fringe prop) but the player in the cross hairs is Matulino not James.

James has surpassed Matulino and Lillyman when it comes to domination of all comers.

Maybe, but Fusitua is a centre, that is his future.
He is only 22, if he has to spend another year on the wing it won't hurt him. I actually wonder if his best position may end up being fb, but we will only find out if RTS chases his rugby dream

His finishing in the corner last year was amazing and he has such good airel skills, at this point on his career he seems to add more one wider. As he continues to develop he will surely end up at centre or fb

Gavet back and have a four forward bench v the Doggies.

No injury cover. Time to throw the dice and claim what ever shit they land on as our own.
