The season is still salvageable but the boys have no heart and no ticker, that hurts as a fan.

Losses aren't so bad when you can see your team putting in the effort. To see a team with so much talented players playing like a bunch of cu**s hurts.

Does it really matter who the coach selects? Learnt to expect more shuffling of the deck chairs and 'baffling' tactics, excuses in the press conference etc.. Never ending rubbish.

Manu comes back in, big deal expect the same simple errors that put us on the back foot.

Shaun Lane won't do shit. Bodene probably play little minutes as the coach will ease him back like Leuluai.

Robson to retain his spot but offer fark all again.

Luke already fallen into that Warriors lazy culture, so much for setting high standards that was a crock of shit

Lillyman invisible again bring Gavet or Upu in for him

Hoffman low work rate no impact bring Lauitiiti in for him.

Same shit different week. Bulldogs 12+ easily.

Guess I don't understand how Cappy can keep picking guys who don't put in the effort. If he does, he's enabling them, and as responsible as they are. Screaming at them does nothing. Holding them accountable does. Better yet, have the team hold each other accountable, as they're letting each other down.

Kata moves inside Hurrell on D, Robson I will never name. Frees up a bench spot for an actual forward.
We miss Gavets aggression and Bodenes class so both back in assuming BT is fit.
Manus hammy seems a liability, take some time and get it right.

The problem isn't so much effort it's consistent effort for 80 minutes and if we dropped every player who had a lapse we'd be left with half a team. That's the problem with sadly no obvious solution.

I'll take a lapse here and there, but not coming off the defensive line hard, not running hard, not backing up in support play, that's basic. If a player consistently DOESN'T do that, he needs to be dropped. I don't see Kata and Ayshford, Hurrell dogging it. Look at the tape, and point it out. Ask the players about it. Turn it into a team thing. Video DON'T lie.

our Forwards need to Man up, Gubb has to go, had zero go forward, Im a big Hurrell fanboi but its a wasted bench spot, so Sao and Lane come in for those 2, need big bodies in the line, I'm even tempted to bring back Gavet as well.

hows Thomson coming along?

Definitely this. When two bench spots are essentially wasted, it's no wonder we got monstered. Matulino to play less than 60 minutes too please. He's not up to 70+ yet.

Might as well rename this team 'collect our cheque and play like shit Warriors'

Consistency and an inability to dominate has always been this forward packs weakness

James Graham will outplay Matulino. Graham's inspirational with a massive engine Matulino's inconsistent, great one week crap the next 3 weeks, same old.

Will Luke turn up? Who knows. Lichaa will trouble him

Tolman will outplay Lillyman. If it's not Origin time or a significant milestone for Lillyman then we can expect more poor to below average stuff from him. Pretty much same old, regular under performer. I'd drop Lillyman but he's a coach favourite so he'll get picked regardless of form.

Josh Jackson will outplay Thompson. That's if Thompson's selected since he's coming back from injury but Jackson's in good form so I can't see Bodene outplaying Jackson.

Tony Williams will outplay Hoffman. Hoffman is lucky to be in the team I'd drop him to reserve grade due to his lack of work rate and quality play, pitiful contribution as captain. Long way past his best. Williams has been in solid form.

Eastwood & Mannering pretty much cancel each other out but Eastwood will eventually get the better of him due to Simon having to make 1000 tackles to make up for everyone else's lazy ass.

Klemmer > Lisone. Klemmer's a massive man and more aggressive then Lisone. Lisone might edge him on ball playing skills but that's about it.
Kasiano > Gubb. Gubb is a farkin meat head. Still too wired and not composed enough for my liking. Still doesn't know when to tone things down or pick his moments, aggression is great but discipline is better. Get the balance right and he's a regular.
Tim Browne > Hurrell. Will the real Konrad Hurrell please come back?. The current version looks like a shell of the man he was. Might have to flick him and use his salary elsewhere. Dean Whare perhaps?

Therein lies the problem. Forwards get owned regularly, give away stupid penalties, make stupid errors, they aren't aggressive or tough enough and can't match it with their opponents therefore we get our asses handed to us. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.

I find it so weird that he went from playing around 50 mins over two spells to suddenly being some Sam Burgess 80 min prop (almost). He's gone from playing too few mins to too many without a spell.. Why can't he just play the first 25-30mins, and then come back on at the 50min mark and play through. = 60-65 mins.. wouldn't that allow him to have a more sustained impact for the time that he's out there?

Five&Last

1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
2. Tuimoala Lolohea
3. Solomone Kata
4. Blake Ayshford
5. Ken Maumalo
6. Thomas Leuluai
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Jacob Lillyman
9. Jazz Tevaga
10. Ben Matulino
11. Bodene Thompson
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Simon Mannering

14. Isaac Luke
15. Albert Vete
16. Sam Lisone
17. Toafofoa Sipley

Bring Ken onto the wing (I know he doesn't have a heap of fans round here) the dude is in form and is one of the highest try scorers in the NSW cup and deserves his spot over Wright while Manu is out.
Isaac Luke has been absolute shit in every game he's played so far this season and needs to be dropped from the starting team.
Bodene to come straight back in if he's fit, Leuluai to the halves immediately.
And lastly I want Sipley to make his debut, he started for the NSW cup team last week and got through some good minutes but if he's not ready to go maybe bring in Shaun Lane (anything other than Konrad or Gubb).

Cappy wants to save the interchanges so he can bring Hurrell on for two 8 minute stints , because taking 2 hitups in those 8 minutes wears him out.

Problem is that it's not one or two players consistently not putting in effort. It's the majority of them who at various times just have that drop in concentration. It's different culprits every week, just little lapses that cost us.

It's a team mentality that's not quite there where it should be.

I like that team although who would be the better impact off the bench, Lillyman or Gavet;)

Mate we dont need impact, we have scored the second most points in the competition, we need brains, continuous effort and defense coming off the bench.

Our edge defense is just starting to gel and old dipshit McFadden makes panic changes...our forwards are getting dominated and they're making mistakes, which increases their defensive workload, so they get fatigued and start dropping off tackles.

Opposition teams knew if they attacked our edges they would have success the vast majority of the time...the last couple of weeks they've had to change their focus to the middle as our outside defense has improved, subsequently our forwards are being found out.
