Pick Your Team 2016 Rnd 7 - Bulldogs vs Warriors

NRLRd9WarriorsvBulldogsWxx3otCt1Z x

After the Round 6 game against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Mt Smart Stadium do you want to see any changes for the game against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Westpac Stadium?

Promotions?
Demotions?
Any new injury concerns?
Any returning players?
Any tweaks to the bench?

Any poll questions you want to see asked in regards to possible team selection?

Discuss...

Looks good. The old our bench is bigger than yours trick. Maybe Sao comes in for Lisone if he plays a big one in the reserves. TL instead of Robbo?
Crazy eyes is short of a run. Lolohea is playing well on wing. Would like to see consistent go forward before crucifying and changing our halves

leuluai looked tired tonight... but he played mostly as lock and made plenty of tackles... he would be fine in the halves.

a winger's job is to finish, we have other guys who can do that.

we need some creativity in the halves and nobody else is providing it.

plus... im a firm believer in the power of a dropping to nsw cup for the superstar from time to time

But its never going to happen. Lolohea would have been destroyed if he was playing in the halves against Manly with the lack of forward momentum

6 games in and things just arent working, its time to make some changes.

Halves are disappointing, forwards are ineffective, outside backs are nothing special, its dismal

1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck - better clean up your defense mate
2. Lolohea
3. Ayshford
4. Kata
5. Manu (Allwood/Wells if injured - Fuck having stopgap Wright. Need a threat on this edge if Beast is out)
6. Shaun Johnson
7. Leuluai
8. Vete
9. Luke
10. Gavet
11. Thompson (Sao or Lane if still out)
12. Hoffman
13. Mannering

14. Tevaga
15. Mautlino
16. Lisone
17. Sao or Lane (Gubb if Thompson out)

18. Lillyman

Robbo is like that awkward 3rd wheel guy who lingers but doesn't fit in. Leuluai should in theory have better cohesion with the Warriors spine through the Kiwis connection. I don't care for the talk that TL "over calls" Shaun Johnson, to me that's myth. If Shaun Johnson wants the ball Luke will get it to him. Shaun Johnson needs to want it though.

Bring Gavet back for that mongrel. Gonna need it against the Dog pound. If Thompson is healthy, Gubb drops off - love the guy but he doesn't bring enough on attack. We need go forward - even more against the Doggies. Tevaga comes back as the defensive enforcer for mine.

If Manu's out let's get a speedster on the wing. Someone who can capitolise if Kata passes. Need threats on both edges.

In saying that, this being a game where potentially Sao or Lane make their Warrior debuts is a good thing. We need all lift we can get after a piss poor performance this week.

Vete gets in over Lillyman for me. Jake has been fire the past few weeks but being honest is rather ineffective in his hit ups. I hate the fact he stops on contact and doesn't drive his legs! Vete's charges last night won my heart in this battle.

Come on Cappy - do it.

When is Henare Wells back?

Him over Wright, for mine.

Give Shaun Lane a crack can't be any worse then the rest of our forwards. And it's against the Bulldogs, he'll want to smash them.

I want Matulino at 13. Every other teams 13 is easily one of their best players (yes I know we got Mannering). He can be our Burgess, Taumalolo, Parker.

1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
2. Turmoils Lolohea.
3. Blake Ayshford.
4. Solomone Kata.
5. Henare Wells/Vatuvei.
6. Shaun Johnson.
7. Jeff Robson.

8. Jacob Lillyman.
9. Issac Luke.
10. Albert Vete.
11. Ryan Hoffman.
12. Simon Mannering.
13. Ben Matulino.

14. Thomas Leiluai.
15. Sam Lisone.
16. Charlie Gubb.
17. Shaun Lane.
