Mannering has always played to that standard, apart from that charge down that led to Shaun Johnson winning the match agaisnt the Sharks last year I cannot remember Hoffman doing much at all.

Been saying throughout off season that this was the case....I think people attributed his performances (or lack of) to his concussion and he was able to coast under the radar last year. The issue however is, you'd think the coach would be aware of it though....he should have noted that he is offering little in defence and attack...but instead makes him the captain, which again to me shows how clueless the guy is....
