22 Tackles aye?
He has made one more than Shaun Johnson this season, he made less than any other forward including Sam Lisone who went off injured last game.

Hoffman might not be making any tackles but what a difference it's made having him talking to the refs...

Feel sorry for billy slater and hopefully it's not the last we see of him but I gotta admit I'm glad we won't have to deal with him this weekend.

Seriously, Munster has been playing some very good football. He's been carving up the first two rounds. Only thing he doesn't have yet that Slater does is the psychic connection to Cronk that comes with 200-250 games together... He's not a small unit either, better defender than Billy...

I think he is good at talking, but so was Steve Price. First and foremost he has to justify his position in the team. If one of the Poly boys had his stats what would happen?

Shit the weight of carriering the captain's badge was be huge. Mannerings playing some good footy but the Hoff is flopped like his 80's name sake

Mannering has always played to that standard, apart from that charge down that led to Shaun Johnson winning the match agaisnt the Sharks last year I cannot remember Hoffman doing much at all.

I think everyone's forgetting he's NOT a winger lol.. It isn't his position. Too skilled, hasn't got the necessary winger speed, can't defend on the edge. He played good most the time on the game over the weekend for sure, but he's definitely out of position. He should replace Robson who we all know makes too may errors on O. He can BARELY defend in the middle and most of all doesn't oppose a threat on O.

I said nothing about hurrel being a winger. He's a block busting center :D give the guy a chance

Love team naming Tuesday.
Should be less criticism now that its clear we've already played the top two teams! lol!
Barrett may also ease the pressure on Cappy!
Gutted that Mutts will be out for this game.

Want to know how bad the Warriors really are?

This is the horror story in black and white, the NRL points table since the Warriors last won a match. It has been all downhill since the famous Nathan Friend backflip sent the Warriors to victory against the Storm at Mt Smart in July.

The Friend-inspired euphoria has given way to doom despite the arrival of Issac Luke and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

nrlstandingsol.jpg

Since the Storm victory, the Warriors have lost by an average scoreline of 13 - 32. They have given up the most points across 10 matches and scored the least amount of points of all 16 teams.

They have only played at Mt Smart three times during the 10-game losing trot, but two of the biggest losses - against the Sea Eagles and Cowboys - were on home turf.

So much for Fortress Mt Smart, and they were also given a drubbing by the Dragons in Wellington.

Even cellar dwellers Newcastle - a club described as a "shocking debacle" by the Daily Telegraph - has managed three wins during that time.

The scores.-

2015
Roosters 0 - 24
Sea Eagles 12 - 32
Sharks 14 - 18
Dragons 0 - 36
Panthers 10 - 24
Cowboys 16 - 50
Tigers 16 - 50
Bulldogs 22 - 26

2016
Tigers 26 - 34
Broncos 10 - 25

Thats not good reading. :-(

Yip gun player but even if billy was playing we'd still have to deal with Munster playing center anyway.

I was taking the piss.

If Matulino gets done on the evidence shown in the NRL's judiciary review video then the rort is in!!
