Not sure if Maumalo is injured but noticed everybody's leaving him out. However, here is my wishlist;

* Giving Ayshford a week off to freshen up after playing every game so far according to my guestimation.

If any of our backline get sore sore then Maumalo goes to wing and Lolo and Fusitua cover the injuries. Fusitua cover Lolo and centres. Lolo covers the halves and Bully. Bodene plays centre for a week to replace Aysh. Muttz takes Bodenes spot. Buntage from the bench.

No ppls champ required.

i dont get it. Everyone saying this is a must win game (even though its totally reliant on others win/losses now) and then putting in a complete unknown like Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.
Personally i think Ayshford started going down hill when we lost Bodene and that if Bodene is back, then he should retain his spot as they combo so well together.
Tui cant catch a kick so you cant put him in the back 3. As im keeping Ayshford, then that only leaves Katas spot up for grabs and im kinda expecting Manu to be back, Kata should take the wing if hes not included. With Tui going into centre left.
Muttz to get a time out for indifferent behaviour. Bring in Sipley or Lane.

Think this should be pretty straightforward.

Thompson replaces either Vatuvei or Maumalo depending on the beasts fitness.

Lolohea to fullback, Fusitua is probably better overall at 1, but he’s also the top winger, got no confidence big Ken would’ve finished that chance in the 79th minute, just doesn’t seem to have the confidence or the instincts. He’s been trying hard, but cracks are showing.

4 points from the winger squeezing in a chance is just as valuable as whatever extra running metres you might get from a big back 3.

Vete if fit replaces Tevaga, TL senior covers 9. Afoa can offer something as a 2nd rower off the bench in either case.

I thought Charnze (what a name, and what a rats tail) was very impressive in the curtain raiser, could hardly have done more, but its hardly cappys style to change players now its MUST WIN OR I’M FIRED time. Maybe slot him on the wing if Vatuvei is out. Don't think he's robust enough to play centre, look at skinny ayshford being brushed by Tjorbozngeovich and Papalii, it'd be a tough gig to chuck him in there.

Maybe not my team but the side I suspect Cappy will go with provided Manu's out and Bodene and Albie are available for selection.

Roache in for Tevaga, he's more effective at covering the backline than Jazz and has a better pass from dummy half, something Jazz needs to go back to reserve grade and work on IMO.

Bunty provides back row cover with the return of Bodene back from injury.

I wouldn't be making drastic changes.
It was a game we should've won really- had more ball, ran for more meters, had more off loads etc..
The only thing that let us down was defence and it wasn't bad reads just straight up misses with the worst culprits being luke( who had a off night) mutts ( who didn't look interested but then he never does ) and Ashford again.
You're not gonna drop mutts or Luke and although I've never been his biggest fan I think it's a bit late in the piece to replace Ashford- cappy has made his bed there and will have to lie in it.
So Thompson comes back (hopefully) tui goes back to fullback, Fusitua to his wing ( both of these inclusions should help mr perfect get back on track and that leaves a choice between manu and ken for the other wing- take your pick.

I agree, though I don't believe in the interchanging of players during games. It gets a bit to clever for our simple guys and if they are good enough to play the position then they play the position. Not 'well you play fullback for tackles 1-4 and then move to wing' or vice versa

I'd be more hesitant to put Lane in first grade as my limited observations of him are that he needs to take the handbrake off and rip in.

Tui’s a great centre prospect so I don't mind him there. And it might have been a while ago but Tui caught a kick against the chooks that lead to Roger Tuivasa-Sheck's golden try.

He has been out jumped by Ferguson and Tupou though so I'm not trying to debunk everything you say. Good selections.

Nah, Bo starts in the backrow, Afoa to bench, Lolohea comes off the bench and either FB or wing, i dont really mind, but would prefer fullback.

Totally forgot about Bunty, hes been going great guns.

I wanted to see him included on the bench as specialist back row cover/impact, but he just giraffes about in NSW cup, occasional nice offload, loses ground half the time.

Not missing anything. Its good that Afoa has emerged as an option there. Didn’t see that coming.

Wonder where Lane will end up next year, his management will have to polish that bulldogs highlight reel a bit more.

Plus all he offers is 2nd phase, and no one on the warriors seems to be in position for an offload, when they come they look surprised and shuffle it along the line.

At least Mason Lino has a run after getting offloads in reserve grade….
