It will essentially be the same team. Pretty sure they only took Wright and Vete with them for the two away openers? Neither are game changers.

The 2016 squad will take a while to gel, but they really need to get the defense sorted out quick smart - said the prophet.

Losing to that ordinary Tigers team was a massive kick in the gonads though.

why Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to the wing, why not put him in at 7 if your just juggling pieces. to me it seems that it underutilises his talents, whereas Lolohea hasnt proven anything yet and in my mind doesnt deserve the upgrade. Also not sure about Manu to bench as he hasnt proven himself their yet and isnt Gubb's suspension lifted next week?

Same team but would make an example of Manu Vatuvei. Its time for him to lose his bulletproof status. Needs to made an example of. Options are Jonathan Wright or David Fusitua. Dont like either but Jono is the better of the two at the minute.

Would bring in Albert Vete for either Sam Lisone or Jacob Lillyman. Probably the young fella. We need some serious go forward or we'll never get the best out of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Shaun Johnson and Issac Luke.

Ben Henry needs to replaced. Raymond Faitala-Mariner is next cab off the rank. Best option with our injury and suspension list. Either that or Ali Lauitiiti or John Palavi. Ones underdone and the other is just plain done.

Would start James Gavet with Ben Matulino on the bench as happened today...

Edit: Haven't been sold on Hoffman since he arrived, way too many flaws in his game for our team.

i missed the mannering move and honestly would fight it as moving him out of an already weak middle would be a huge mistake in my mind. I also would never make someone captain who has given up the title.

I feel lillyman isnt as tough as past years. These three with gubb on his return will eat the middle of most teams. This will give lolo and Shaun Johnson space to move.

Manu needs to play close to the ball. The "big turning circle" and "butterfingers" are too much of a risk. Plus back up if needed through injury.

Lillyman hasn't impressed me in a while- need more go forward.
SOMETHING needs to be done with our 3/4, looked like the Manu/Kata side was the main offender today

Agree. Konrad Hurrell can actually defend when he has someone running him that he trusts. Best partner to date was Glen Fisiiahi and they did really well. Helped that Fisiiahi was able to cut down any players that did get the better of Konnie but there were plenty times where you could see them communicating perfectly and targeting the right players...

After Vatuveis efforts agains the tigers, i still think he should play purely on the fact that he's experienced. He'l trust his inside more if Kata isn't there. Throw Kata in NSW with Hurrell so they can learn how to defend. Both very bad at reading defence, it costs us. Now the comp knows that our wings are weak they'l aim for our centres more and more, we can't take that chance.
